If we're talking about only the powers is CONFIRMED to have, then that only includes the powers we've seen him use, correct?
We assume that since he's abosrbed telekinesis from Sylar, he's absorbed everything else as well. Is that accurate? To my knowledge, we've never seen him display super hearing, Charlie's memory, Cryokinesis, or Sylar's base power of "Intuitive whatever". Sylar used Telekinesis around Peter, that might be key for these more complex Empathy scenarios.
We know Peter can copy abilities of nearby characters even if they aren't actively using their power (Ted). But Sylar's powers aren't native. Peter might not be able to copy them until Sylar uses them. Have we seen Peter display any of Sylar's absorbed powers that weren't actively used within proximity of him?
Peter's max range seems to be the distance DL was from him in Kirby plaza. So since he copied DL, he presumably copied Micah and Molly.
I think Hatian's blocking ability trumps Peter's empathy - meaning he can never copy it.
In regards to the Hatian, his ability is activated, not "always on". This was proven in 5YG when he was able to selectively block Hiro's abilties but allow Matt to mind read. That explains how Nathan was able to fly away - because I'm guessing that Linderman requested the company bring Nathan in, and they didn't know at that time that he had any ability. So Hatian wasn't supressing anything. They looked surpised when he took off. For every other "special" they've gone after, they've known the abilities involved and how to stop them.
If they knew Nathan could fly, Hatian would have been supressing it. And they certainly wouldn't have walked him outside!
I cna wait till Peter meets Monica. then hell be a GOD. He is muscular enough that he could easily watch an action movie and suddenly be able to dodge bullets and shoot with perfect accuracy, Getting monicas power would make peter truly unstoppable since then he could mimic both physical things as well as powers.

TK+incredible dodging skills= better than tk if peter gains monicas ability he could easily become incredibly good at avoiding getting hit,yes he would regenerate even if he did get hit but getting hit certainly slows him down and in a fight against certain people that could cost him bigtime

Look, Peter is already a God, it's now just a matter of the writers keeping him from becoming an avenging God. Haitian has to stay around forever just so he is occiasionally negated. And I hope Syler does get all his power back, as he just flat out intimidates Pete.
The issue that I wonder about is how much control peter has over the abilities that he has absorbed. In the case of his regeneration, would he have to activate it to have healing blood like Adam and Clare? Or would he even have the healing blood? Would the blood still be regenerative after it leaves his body and he is not focused on activating his regeneration?

I am hoping that Peter has enough control over his abilities that he's going to be able to save Nathan by the start of S3! I just cant imagine them letting Nathan get killed off of the show! I think that Peter will be so upset and his "Regen" powers will kick in, or maybe they will end up taking Nathan to Mohinder. Y'know Matt is right there with him, and he has gotten friendly with Nathan, so he willl want to help him. I think that Peter will have to "PULL" this ability out, i dont think it is just always there. But this is just my opinion. So, I guess we will see, when the next episode is aired!!

I wonder if Peter first manifested around the same time as a lot of teh others in Six Months Ago. If not, he may after Lindermann's power to heal others. I"m sure he would have met Lindermann face to face as he has with most of the others in the company through his parents.
If not, just time travel and meet him, come back and heal him. Gees if you think about it, Peter could do that with anyone with abilities and copy what he wants. That's crazy. Imagine what would happen if Sylar killed Hiro..more craziness!
I hear ya "Voice".....if the writers wanted to allow Peter, he could pretty much be a "God"! I think that might be one of the reasons that they (The writers) made Peter lose his memory, because that way he wouldnt be so strong and good with his abilities! That would make a bad storyline, if Peter could just walk around and save the day! With his abilities, there is basically nothing that he cant do!

If Peter meets Maya I think he'll just absorb her power but have little control, like with Ted's power, because Maya's power seems unstable because it activates when she gets emotional, like Ted before he learned more control.
