since I can't make a topic, I'll put this here until a mod gets it.
I think we should start making a list of the crazy amount of powers Peter has acquired so far. Try to keep away from guessing at them, and when adding powers explain when Pete got them. I'll start with those that I am 99-100% sure of. There sure are a lot.

Radiokinesis
Alchemical Transmutation
Cryokinesis
Eidetic Memory
Super Hearing
Super Strength
Phasing
Teleportation
Electrokinesis
Mechanical Aptitude
Screwing with Computers(Micah's, change the name please)
Regeneration
Invisibility
Flight
Melt da stuff (Zane T.'s/Sylar's, change name also if dif from Bob's)
Auto-Location
Telepathy/Total Neural Control and the powers below(not sure if they are separate powers)
Illusions
Hatian-Kinesis (JK, what mem wiping and power suppressing is called)
As a final note, I am not sure if certain powers like Matt/Candice's are the same or separate, so I listed them separate since there is no indication to the former. construct

If we want to figure this Haitians name deal out, we should look to the Bible for the info, since virtually all names are from the big book...the most powerful heroes are linked to the powerful Bible names...Peter (1st Pope) Gabriel (Arch Angel) Micha/Michael (arch Angel, watch that kid is gonna come on STRONG!)...so I would assume the uber powered Haitian would be named for the other Arch Angel...The Haitians name is no doubt Raphael. eek

I'm thinking that Raphael suppresses psychic-linked powers such as Peter's Empathy, Sylar's Analysis, Matt's telepathy, Claude's invisibility, Eden's voice command (we've seen all these either in episodes or graphic novels).

But physical powers such as Adam's/Claire's regen, Ted's radiation, Nathan's flight, Elle's eletricity would not be able to be suppressed.

But that still doesn't fully explain how Peter with Claude escaped from Noah & Rachael on the rooftop:
1. Either Raphael let them go (voluntary control)
2. Peter fell away from Raphael, then was able to fly like Nathan (specific range)

Another thing: was Raphael still in the Petrelli house when Claire pulled the glass shard out of Peter's head for him to regenerate?

What I meant to say was, if the haitian (or Bruce or Marty or Raphael, whatever you wanna call him. Personally i like Kimbo, dont know why though) blocked Peter's powers, how would Peter be able to absorb the Haitian's ability if his powers ( including absorption/mimicry) was blocked? Peter wouldn't be able to gain the power, because he couldn't use it. I think the Haitian's ability is the only power Peter cannot absorb.

And is it confirmed Peter has Charlie/Zane/Dale/Molly/and chronokinesis? Peter is a great character with a great power but he's getting WAY too powerful. And I dont know what Adam's ultimate plan is, but he shouldn't be able to double cross Peter, considering Pete can read his mind. He's too powerful to be so naive. It gets annoying after a while, imo.

I just wish he had a limit to his power. Peter is becoming Superman plus Goku. SuperGoku or Gokuman. Whichever you prefer.

Plus his overly trusting nature makes him forever a puppet to someone else; never his own man.

By the way, he has lots of mystery powers too. Charles D's power, Mummy & Daddy's power, Kaito maybe - possibly all the the 12! If he's already met Bob... who knows? Though of course, he might have met these people before his sponge had developed.

Finally, let's not forget about all the 'special' strangers he's no doubt passed in the street, without even knowing... (DEM anyone? Razz

)

I can't wait fo him to learn how to shapeshift!

It was interesting that Peter could use his regenerative ability to start remembering things again. This means that the Haitain's power is "memory supression" not memory loss. Which ties more into the Haitain's "ability supression" power.

Also Peter was near the Haitain when he was in the hospital after saving Claire in Homecoming. HRG was using the Haitain to supress Peter's mind reading when HRG was thanking him for saving his daughter. So if he could absorb it, he could do it then.

The range of his absorption is interesting. He was a long way from DL in Kirby plaza and go that one. So definitely he has Molly's and Micah's.

Chrono means time, so Chronokinesis means what Hiro does minus teleportation, i guess. Radiokinesis is Ted Sprague's Nuke ability, he basically has control over electromagnetic waves. A.T. is Bob's, changing stuff to other elements (or maybe compounds too). Cryokinesis is ice power (literally cold movement) that Sylar got from someone. Eidetic Memory is the perfect memory that Charlie, Hiro's girlfriend, had before Sylar took it and Peter absorbed it. Mechanical Aptitude should actually be the howstuffworks power that Sylar originally has, but Mech Apt. isn't the word for it, sorry.

You're right about it not being in Peter's nature to not be his own man, Squeaker. Following others, especially those he loves and everything. But, geez, that is annoying. Peter's my favorite character, but how many times is he going to let someone abuse him? It's like getting punched in the face several times, eventually you should learn to duck.

It's kinda like Nikki. All she wanted to do was keep her family together...yet she got DL killed when all she had to do was keep taking her pills. (and the whole someone shooting him thing. This guy can not stay away from bullets)

And I forgot about the rooftop scene. I guess Peter can absorb someone's ability while using another power.

I hope the writers give him some sort of meltdown...he's getting WAY too powerful. I can't emphasized that enough.

Hey thanks a lot, Blufry!! I had a pretty good idea of what some of those powers meant, but wasn't for sure! I remember those abilities, but I didn't remember the "technical" names! Thanks! Heart

I personally like that Peter is so powerful! I do agree that he is VERY naive at times, ok A LOT! But that's part of what makes him so good, is his hope! (remember what Mr.Devauex said) Faith and hope, can often be perceived as weakness, or ignorance!
