I think that the stick in Claire's head and the shard of glass in Peter's head indicate that damage to their brains (ie Linderman) can kill people with regenerative healing powers.

I think actually Adam's power is the same as Claire's ... we have not seen him do anything claire can't do...

I wanted to add that if that is the case and the two powers are exactly the same, Peter has been Immortal since the night he met Claire. (Technically as proven by him coming alive again when the shard was removed, It's as if his body shut down until it could repair itself.

Might be the same for Adam, if his oxygen supply runs out, his body shuts down until it can get some.

Yeah, they had this discussion in another thread.
Apparently according to spoilers they group capture Adam at the end of the season and they lock him in a cement casket and bury him alive (since he can't die, you might as well bury him alive

So oxygen's role in how the power works has been thoroughly discussed... too bad I can't remember which thread? l ol... sorry.
