after watching the last episode, my friends all thought that nikki had died, my theory is only nikkis alternate ego died, since she was the one fighting DL at the time, similar to Tyler Durden in Fight Club. This way, 'good' nikki will have control of her super strength.

Did anyone else notice that you couldn't see the marking on the person (Nikki or Jessica) that was laying on the floor, unlike in the picture - which, by the way, he did have to uncover. I think this gives more credence to them being two seperate individuals.

the reverse is just as likely, that Niki's alter personality has gained more control. I do not believe that either personality can be killed without killing both as they share the same host body.

At the time the hand went through her it was Nikki not jessica. She changed when she saw her son at the door and then she let the grip go and the hand went though. so yeah its very possible that part of her is dead with the punch. I remember reading an article about how none of them are really safe..they do plan on moving the cast around.

Kinda like lost, The writers said that none of the cast is safe.. I think thats a great idea. That way if someone becomes hard to work with, or demand too much money to join up for season 2, then "whamo" they die. I also don't believe that Nikki 1 or Nikki 2 could be dead cuz they both share the same body. Like i said in another post I think what happened is D.L stopped their breathing and NIkki 2 passed out first with Nikki 1 following after a second of waking up, not knowing what was happening and then passing out as well.

Nikki looked dead to me, but I guess she could have just passed out. I am sure that neither part of her is probably dead but it would be interesting if either Nikki or alter Nikki did die.

i don't think nikkis tattoo is only on her other self, they share the same body, therefor sharing super strength and the tattoo. Her power and tattoo are physical, her alter ego is psychological. I think the tattoo only appears when mirror nikki is present, since only mirror nikki is aware of her powers. There is even a chance that Nikki isn't aware of the tattoo, since it is on her back.
