When he killed Candice and messed with her brain we saw blood all over him and on his hands but whats the one place we didnt see it on? Thats right on his mouth, so I guess the comments made about sylar been a brain eater can stop. I think he just studies the brain and alters his DNA accordingly.

Well in the preview for the next episode Sylar has blood on his mouth. Also, I don't think anything can be officialy proved. PROVEN maybe.

maybe after he takes a power he turns the brain into liquid like Zane or maybe he's an NFL fan and freezes the brain and boots it like it's 4th and long deep in his own territory.

For some reason I just don't see him eating the brain. Even if you're power hungry, unless it's NECESSARY to eat the brain I'd imagine that would even gross him out.

But yeah, when the brain is gone after where does it go? He does have TK, maybe he rips it in pieces and just disposes of it that way... I dunno, they really need to show his means for his power jack moves.

In earlier spoilers, it was alluded to that he consumes the brain. Not the entire thing, mind you, but he does take or ingest some parts.

Now, this has yet to be proven, and it has also yet to be DIS proven, so I'm still of the mindset that Sylar's going to be doing a little cooking just like our dear friendly Dr. Hannibal Lecter.

But of course, that's just my own personal opinion!

Hmm. What gets me about this is the practicality of eating the brain. DNA denatures when it's not in ideal conditions. Suffice it to say that the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs is NOT an ideal condition. The stomach would denature the DNA and render it unusable, unless his body has a special mechanism that either takes advantage of the denatured DNA or prevents it from happening. *sigh* Suspension of disbelief, I guess.

From a recent interview with Tim Kring:

"In "Fallout", Mr. Bennet mentions that Sylar's powers are a product of using foreign DNA to alter his own. However, the series has left it intentionally ambiguous as to how Sylar does so once he removes a victim's brain. In a March 22, 2007, interview executive producer Tim Kring, when asked if Sylar eats brains, laughed that "that's the popular speculation. There is a connection between the powers and the brain - and Sylar has found it. Early in season 2, you'll find out what he's been doing with the brains."

I believe he does, but only because Molly says he does (there's no reason for her to be wrong...i guess) I don't think he eats the whole brain (most of it we don't use), maybe just the spinal fluid? (which mohindar takes from sylar causing him much pain) or something to do with the back or the brain.

notice when Sylar 'First' kills the man with the original telekinetic powers (because he didn't want em! grr makes me mad that guy, i forgot his name on purpose) he looks into the back of his head just above the spine and instantly knows how it works (Gabe's his original power?) he kills Candice in the same way, a knock to the back of the head above the spine. course that could just be the best way to kill someone when u can't cut them open with your mind. hmmm
