I don't. Ok, so I bring this up every time. You're telling me, that if he watches and studies someone who produces ice from their body, then he would be able to PRODUCE ICE from his body too? Sounds pretty freakin lame to me. In essence, (not that he would) Sylar could teach anyone how to produce ice and then they could do it. I don't think it works that way. I think only someone who's power is to produce ice can do it. And the thing that allows them to do that, is somewhere in their brain, and sylar ingests that.

Also, Sylar saw claire heal at the high school and peter heal right in front of his face and he doesn't have their power after seeing it work right in front of him. He also didn't study dale for a long time, or that Zane Taylor dude. And he never studied peter either and was just ready to kill him right then and there. If he found out someone had a power, he would kill them right then and there and take it. He doesn't sit around and study them all the time.

No i mean after killing heroes and cut them head he studies the abilities, i don't and i say I DON'T really wanna think that he eats brains... sound crazy a lot

He looks at the brain VERY closely then makes a smoothie? face it, he is nuts. He could have sex with the brain, old Sylar could do what he wanted. new Sylar just wishes he could. that must be hell.

can we just agree that you can not say "OFFICIALLY PROVEN" unless you see the action being performed on the show or a writer straight out says "he does not eat brains"....

thanks cause when you get proven wrong (which may or may not happen) you will look like a fool...

I believe that his power has been proven to be intuitive learning? It has always seemed to me that he could alter his DNA after seeing how "something works". He removes the top of the skull to see the evolved victims brain...he sees how it is wired, how it "works"...remember, this is a type of thing that his watchmaking echoes...that is intricate, takes very clear vision and ability to see every little moving part...by his very core, we know he can sense and see the way things work. While he is a mass murderer, he is not a wild beast that eats people...if he did, he would be much heavier (especially after killing Dale!). He does NOT eat the brain, there is certainly splatter as he tears OUT the brain to look closely, but c'mon people, can we put that silly notion to rest?

Theories...
- Syler's powers are ALL coming back
- there is a being that will negate Peter completely (not the haitian) as otherwise
Peter would basically be a God
- Clare is getting pregnant, and her child will be "The One"

You may know how a gun works, know EVERY single little thing about it, but you can't shoot it because it doesn't have a trigger. Now, I'm not saying he absolutely HAS to eat the brain, but if you look at what has been given to us IN THE SHOW, it is very, VERY, possible that he ingests a part of the brain. Especially since only one character has survived when he has taken a power right in front of them and she said "he eats your brain." I'm sorry but even if you want to say she's a little kid, saying EATING your brain and not actually meaning that would be extremely metaphorical for a girl so young. People know that they can't fly, so we can put that SILLY NOTION to rest. But in Heroes they can, so any of your logical explanations can be thrown out the door in this universe. Some things work and some things don't, so we can't say without a doubt that Sylar does NOT eat brains. And while he is a mass murder, and as you say not a "beast", he sure had no problem painting the future in his mother's blood with his hands.

Again, if all he has to do is tudy it...

then where does the brain go? He's doing SOMETHING with them because they are always gone.

I have a feeling he's not just starting a collection on his mantle.

C'mon guys, he DOES eat the brain! He has made comments about sinking his teeth in, Molly has made comments about him, "Eating your brain" and the brains are always missing, and HOW ELSE could he be able to absorb the powers, without ingesting some part of the brain?? I think that it is obvious that Sylar eats the brain! He is a psychopath, he does go around killing anyone and everyone with a power he can find, there is always blood everywhere, and the people's heads are always cut open, and the brains are always gone! So, what else would he be doing with them? I think that it is great that we ALL have different opinions, and it will be exciting to watch and see what he actually does with the brains, so until then, we will all just have to agree to disagree on this subject!
