There are a few people who I suspect are going to be very quiet for a while....as they realise how wrong they were in denying the true identities of Dallas and Austin.
I was wrong... I was certain Austin was somebody totally new.. while I did thing Dallas was PaPatrelli.
I could have sworn the early drawings were quite ethnic with regard to Austin. The 3rd installment made it clear if not obvious that Austin was Linderman.
But that just leaves room for more theories and speculation!!
I like what had to be little Nathan on the floor, playing with an airplane and what looks like X-Men's Angel.

Linderman reveals to Nathan that he had formed a meta crime-fighting team in the past. "Think about my offer. Together we can do great things." I can't think of anything else Linderman could be talking about. My question is, why would Linderman need Petrelli? What's the most powerful thing any one can use? POLITICS - Linderman is probably what made PaPetrelli go into politics war veteran family man etc. It's perfect. Not sure how Linderman got so rich unless he saved a bunch of rich peoples lives and so they pay him money?
This also explains why he wasn't worried about being shot he can probably heal himself. This really helps tie together why all the characters are so connected. Otherwise it just seems to fake. I hope they can translate this story line into a flashback or something for the show.

It also makes things very interesting, because it seems like Linderman is "hunting" his own. Why? Is it because he wanted to understand others? And it also makes Nathan and Peter's situation interesting. Did Papa Petrelli know all along?
I also wonder how this is all going to be revealed in the show, especially as not everyone reads the novels. It's not simple backstory like some of the others - Hiro being named after Hiroshima isn't particularly important except it explains a lot of his ambition, but this pretty much adds a new layer to the show.
My take on this graphic novel runs a bit more sideways:
Linderman, also discharged after the Vietnam war, starts to grop in power and maybe even opens a small medical practice to give him a bit of a bankroll. After gaining a measure of power and prestige, he then goes back and meets back with Papa Petrelli. Gaining back his trust, Linderman steers Petrelli Sr. into the political arena, giving him the power and prestige he was lacking ever since being ousted from the Army. Becoming Linderman's lapdog and pet attorney, he becomes privy to the machinations of Linderman, and becomes ecessively frightened about the things he's seeing. Unable to come to terms with this massive plan, he then ends his own life.
Now, I'm not claiming this is the end-all, just my take on what could very well be the scenario we're looking at here. Linderman seems way too in control. He has to have some intelligence working for him, as well as some other very powerful people in his corner to be this comfortable in working his 'black ops' in broad daylight.

It would be a change in Petrelli's point of view if he's uncomfortable with the massive plan. Unless, as I've been speculating, the massive plan is not what Linderman tells Nathan it is.
I became pretty sure over the past few weeks that Austin was Linderman. But I'm not happy about it.
I'm still waiting to see how this information is going to take down OWI. That was why HRG sent Hana to read that, right? Even if it turns out we know who founded it and how, how does that take it down? If Linderman and Petrelli started it, does that mean Linderman controls OWI as well? Or is OWI the group Linderman says became selfish?
OK, I'm going with OWI is the group Linderman says formed initially, and some members later turned selfish. But I'm still not sure how this information will take OWI down. Maybe Linderman isn't aware that the organization still exists (not likely), so if Hana sics him on it, OWI goes down.

To answer PayQuage's post: I think the fact that Linderman is a SG is going to be one thing that helps take down the OWI. I mean, their whole purpose has been basically hunting people down who have powers, and using them as lab rats - and even killing them if necessary. Meanwhile, all along, Linderman's been one of them.
Also, the file can help incriminate Linderman to the FBI. After all he killed a little girl - in the name of the United States. What he did is considered a war crime, and somehow, I highly doubt the US government would buy the "well she had super powers" excuse.
