This graphic novel takes us to Sylar's storyline and explains how he got back up north from Texas. Sylar is shown to have been struck by the bullets fired from HRG's gun and wounded. He decides to bum a ride from a trucker hauling beer. During the ride he has a flashback to the scene when he met and killed Charlie, confirming that despite Hiro's efforts, Charlie did die at the hands of Sylar and not due to her brain anyeurism. The trucker's route is not as direct as Sylar would like, so Sylar TKs some beer bottles into the driver to kill him. As Sylar enters Virginia, he is pursued by the police. Sylar lays down a sheet of ice, causing the pursuing police cars to crash and confirming that Sylar does have some kind of freezing ability. Sylar crashes the truck and flees the scene.

The Easter Egg is a shot of HRG looking in on Sylar's cell at Primatech.

Wow, this explains a lot and helps fill in so many gaps. I still find it to be an almost unbelievable coincidence that both Sylar and Mohinder are going to meet the same guys (Zane).

It's not really a coincidence when you consider that Sylar killed most of Mohinder's other choices . . . .
