So far we have seen that Mirror Niki is strong, ruthless, hyperintelligent, and knows a scary amount of stuff. However, with the possible exception of the staticky camera in the garage, we haven't seen anything "superhuman" about her (even the camera could have somehow been wiped by MN after the fact, rather than having been messed up by MN's appearance in the first place). Though unlikely, someone like her could exist simply due to an unusual case of multiple-personality disorder. Thoughts on what could make Mirror Niki truly "special":
Super-strength (makes sense considering her near-absurd fighting ability)
Physically changes between two bodies (explains why tattoo only seems to show up sometimes, also explains why Niki never is hurt or exhausted upon "waking up", since one of their bodies can heal while the other one is in existence)
Exceptionally strong perception combined with photographic memory and hyperintelligence (explains fighting ability as well as why MN always knows exactly what to do to improve the situation for Niki)
Hypnotic/mind-altering ability (would prevent other people from putting up a good fight against her, would also explain how she arranges Niki's life so well)

Super Strength is pretty much granted if her doppleganger tore someone in half :O)

I don't believe it's another personality I believe it's another person all together, hence the tattoo being only on alter-Nikki.

Do I think Alter-Nikki is evil? I'm not sure evil really covers it, I think more of "lives by her own rules" is probably a closer identifier at this point.

Alter-Nikki is Nikki with zero inhibitions or regard to consequences w/ super strength and absolutely no conscience.

Thats how I'm looking at it at least, until proven otherwise.
I mean obviously Alter-Nikki has compassion because of the "Don't mess with -our- son again" there is love there, and even the alter-nikkie claims the child as her own which to me shows that evil is unlikely.

what ya'll think?

What is it? Is this the warrant of the car?
Where is that car from, anyway?

If this is the warrant, and as it shows Niki's data, it must have been paid by Niki2: she gave the car for Niki1 after all... And if Niki1 had money , i'm sure she would'he spent it on paying her dues back and not for a brand new car...
Where does Niki2 has this money? From that 2 million for what DL is(was) in prison? Niki2 framed DL???

I agree that Niki 2 framed DL, and that she has super-strength (As seen in the preview for episode 6).

Hmmm, not everyone plays D&D and knows what that is.

I do, however - and agree. Niki 2 has no restriction. She does what is best for Niki (and Micah).

I wonder if Alternate Niki is not just Niki's Id. Basically, as was said before, she goes by her own rules. Societal norms mean nothing. She is basically instinct-driven during these blackout episodes. I think that as she grows into the power, she will be able to gain the powers while not fully giving in to the Alter-ego. Then again, maybe it will be like Hulk. She will learn to call on her Alter-ego at will, but once it is called upon, she has no control over what happens.

nikkis power isnt her split personality (psychotic schizophrenia), but super strength. thing is, only her alto ego is aware of her power. i think todays episode will have nikki battling herself for control of her powers.

I'm pretty sure she is only super-strength during Dark Niki periods. I don't think, unless something can take away her power, that she will ever really control her alter-ego. I think she has to negotiate with it. Monday demonstrated that Niki can talk with her other side. This other side is interested in taking risks to further their goals, while Niki is easily persuaded when she is upset and can be controlled by her dark side. In order to work out her life and have any chance of being with Micah (and DL?) again, she is going to need to learn to assert herself against her alter-ego, to make herself more respectable. Otherwise she'll be swept away every time there's a choice between what she wants to do and Dark Niki thinks might end up well for her. Assuming she eventually gets caught up in the "save-the-world" effort, there will be many things for Dark Niki to do to excersise herself without betraying Niki. Of course, Dark Niki will always be somewhat of a wild-card, so Niki will too. In order for Niki to assist in the save-the-world effort, Dark Niki will have to be won over to pursue something nobler. The most likely way for this to happen is Micah having a power, and so needing to be kept safe from Sylar and other villains. Not only is this especially likely since Niki and DL have powers, but also because the trailer for 7 seems to show it, and because Micah seems to know about things he's not supposed to know. Unless we attribute this to his (admittedly impressive) intelligence, Micah has some sort of information-gathering power.

I might note that the biggest difference between the two Nikis is that only the original seems to love DL. For Dark Niki, DL was a weak man and a non-factor before she learned of his power. She is not interested in making Niki happy, only amusing herself and fixing "their" life. The only non-selfish desire they share is Micah, and in Dark Niki's psyche even this may be more of an instinctual love than a true relationship. From what little we've seen with Dark Niki and Micah, Dark Niki is straightforward and pragmatic with him, not loving. This may be one of the only ways in which she respects the original Niki if she really has the Chaotic Neutral personality. Dark Niki couldn't really take care of Micah. This is why Dark Niki needs Niki. Another reason that Dark Niki is usually dormant, could be that she doesn't care to live Niki's life, only to manipulate it when she thinks Niki is screwing up (Dark Niki is always watching, just not always controlling). Another possibility is that it is difficult for Dark Niki to manifest for considerable lengths of time unless Niki is asleep, and can't send messages either except when Niki is still and/or watching a likeness of herself anyway.

All the speculation is, of course, assuming that Niki returns essentially unchanged next episode, that DL hasn't irreversibly changed/damaged her.

Yea. What he did was kindof cool. What exactly did he do to her anyway? It looked like he melded with her. It'll be interesting to see what that did and if it hurt Nikki or Nikki 2.0 more.
