Maury Parkman is in your head...what's your worst nightmare?
For me it can be summed up in one word - zombies. Shamblers, hordes, runners, rage, it doesn't matter what kind, they are my worst nightmare. This explains why I watch every zombie movie there is. You might think I'm watching them to help ease my fear of zombies, or that it's a coping mechanism right? Nope. I watch zombie movies to figure out the best way to survive in case of a real Zombie Apocalypse. Which is why I know that the #1 best form of transportation to escape the undead is a bicycle, and the best weapon to have at your disposal is a very sharp blade like a katana. (And yes I own both!)
Next person brave enough to share their worst nightmare? |

I had a series of waking nightmares
years ago that lasted for several weeks.
By far the most intense nightmares
since my childhood dreaming.
I would wake up,
or dreamed I woke up,
and glance over at my digital alarm clock
with the oversized lit up numbers
and see that the time was
10:03
Then I would close my eyes
to go back to sleep when suddenly
I would feel a pressence in the room with me.
Opening my eyes I would see a man
wearing a very dark robe
standing next to the bed I was laying in
looking down at me.
I can still picture him perfectly in my mind
extremely tall, thin almost gaunt, bald head
with very pale skin and very dark eyes..
and Oh Yeah..
he was holding a very long butcher knife.
Of course I would wake up screaming
look at the clock and see that the time was
10:04
20 minutes later I would have
the exact same dream all over again.

| Mine is being underwater. Just as I decide that I need to come up to breathe, something pulls me deeper into the water. I fight to reach the surface, but just as I am about to make it there, I am tugged down again. I cannot see what is tugging, but now I am deperate to get to the air. No matter what, every time I am about to make it, I am tugged away from the surface. |

| Mine is a world where suddenly no-one existed. The opening scenes with Cillian Murphry in 28 Days Later would've driven me insane. I guess universal ostracision would be a close second. |

Hmm... No idea. I haven't had a nightmare that I can remember for a while actually. Or any dream at all for that matter...
Oh, hang on...
I have a great fear of fire, despite being somewhat of a scaled-down pyromaniac. When I was very young I had a dream about my house being on fire, and wherever I turned a new fire would spring up. There was no escape, no way to reach my family, nothing... I think I've been afraid of fire ever since. It still keeps me awake at night sometimes, the fear that the house would catch fire while I was asleep. |
