Meh, it was too much work and I couldn't give the role the time or attention needed to perform the task properly, so I've asked the bossman to demoderatorify me.

I'd like to thank you all for your help and support through my brief elevation, and I hope we're all still friends!

The first thing I did when Slippy PM'ed me about not being a moderator anymore was to try my best to talk him out of it. He's a really great guy and we'll miss him on the Mod Squad, but look forward to seeing him around the board!

As Slippy himself put it - "Nobody escapes the brain of Slippy!"

Actually, I had to quit because I couldn't resist the temptation to go and edit all your posts, Jormengrund, to make them comply with my theories, lol.

It was fun while it lasted, but I must admit that I'm a lot happier now I don't have to worry about all the moderatory responsibilities. I no longer feel guilty for not being on the boards as much, and that's a big boost for a neurotic old tart like me!

I should take this opportunity to thank SH and all the mod-squad for their help before, during and since my brief soujourn into moderatorhood. Thanks guys!

And hey, I still feel privileged, being privy to some knowledge of how the site is run, although I never did figure out where SH keeps the genetically engineered vicious mutant hamster-slaves he uses to keep things running smoothly.

And yes, I will still be VERY present on the boards....watch out for the brain of Slippy, inescapable as it is.

Oh, and I can confirm that there are no worms in the Wormhole forum. Or holes.
