Christopher Eccleston's charactor is revealed. He is an invisable man and has had his powers for years!!!

Claude, an invisible man played by British actor Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who), appears January 22. "He's been living with his invisibility for many years and has come to grips with it, so he'll give us a different view into this hero world," [Heroes creator Tim] Kring explains. "He's big, imposing and charismatic, and will become a mentor to Peter - albeit a tough, reluctant and stern one. He'll help Peter learn to use and control his powers."

well, he is supposed to win the election by a landslide...and that shouldnt take place yet....

Nathan won the same day NY goes boom. Remember the paper the cops showed Hiro? That still leaves time for him to die.

I wonder how an invisible man can teach Peter how to control his powers? Except for invisibility itself, what could he know about flying or walking through walls? I'm really interested in this now. I hope he toughens Peter up. Boy needs it.

Is the guy permantely invisible? Or can he trigger it... If permanent sure would offer a view from the wrong side of the powers the heroes have.

So an invisible man...does he need to take his clothes off to pull off the effect? or does what ever he's holding or wearing dissapear too? i mean its a little crazy to just put that out there with 1 week left of real show then 2 months of nothing...i'm not buying it... I'll beleive a shape shifter befor this..

Next monday is when NY goes boom, so they need to pull out all the stops for us to come back in a few months...i really think its a bad idea...

Do you have a source on next monday being when NY goes boom? Because as far as I know it's still 2 weeks away in show time which means likely February at the earliest in real time.

I'm a little confused with them saying he has had his powers for years. It would seem that there was no one event that created the specials, or he got a piggy back ride from Hiro to the past, without Hiro knowing it. Anyone care to collaborate?

You are correct in stating that there was not a single event which led to the creation of the Heroes. It appears to be at least partly and evolutionary process and different people develop their powers at different rates.

Indeed. Recall that H.R.G. said that Claire's mother had an ability, but something went wrong during one of his tests, so she died and left Claire to him. He said that was fourteen years ago.

As for Eccleson playing Claude, it was somewhere on TV.com I think that I read that article a few weeks ago, but his power was still undisclosed at the time. I have to try and find it again to see if they really did update it to say he has invisibility.
