Great minds think alike. I posted this nugget in the Generations thread earlier today.
Very interesting implications for the show - may be worthy of its own thread (or perhaps this can be the one). Certainly bet that M will have an interesting discussion with Molly at some point early in season that S is still around and living in __(?) Very curious to know what Dad and/or Mom knew about it -- did they believe what they told M or did they fib to M -- and why? And, boy, if this former Miss World is in one part of the globe, the current Miss Universe turns out to get a part as well, plus the usual sampling of Nikki, Candice, Claire, etc., they will really be turning up the sex appeal quotient for guy and alternative-minded gal fans of the show.
I have one major problem with this casting. According to the storyline we'd followed from Season 1, Shanti supposedly died at a young age.. Miss Universe isn't YOUNG..
Unless she didn't really DIE!! Something I think Burn and I proposed way back when!!

Actually, she was Miss World. The NEW Miss Universe (who is Japanese) auditioned for the role of Hiro's new princess love interest. If she gets the part remains to be seen. But NBC owns the rights to the Miss Universe pageant so................[insert your own conclusions here].

Is there a Kane, and why would some spoiler like this be stating that he's going to be playing Kensei, and everyone else is reading Kane? I dunno. Maybe I misread, or maybe there's something else floating around out there that contradicts this spoiler??

That's the first I've heard of him being Kensei rather than Kane - I think Kristin sucks lol.
Although, Kensei isn't a name, per se - it's a title. Sword Saint. Although, truth be told, and as I mentioned via MSN, I can't see David Anders being a "sword saint", lol.
