"SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - NBC Universal is taking sides with fellow media conglomerate Viacom Inc. over a piracy lawsuit filed against Google Inc.'s online video sharing site YouTube, according to papers filed in court."
Hrrrrm. Why are they siding with Viacom? In my opinion, because both want to be YouTube.
If Hiro walked into a board meeting and froze time, could he steal their clothes? I guess Sylar could cut the clothes off of the pretty quickly, what with all the practice he's had on skulls, and all . . .
I'll tell you why they changed their tune.. MONEY.
They agreed to YouTube while they were unsure how well Heroes would do. Now that it's become quite the hit, and they are facing lawsuits from disgruntled artists who are claiming to be ripped off, and greedy lawyers who see cash floating in their eyes, NBC has decided to cut some ties, and try to get some cash out of the deal...
After all, the series doesn't pay for itself yet, so they need the collateral that marketing would get them, and even though YouTube is great for spreading the wealth, it's not gaining them the funds they need to make more shows..
Too rich for my blood. I don't see how Stoney could be worth more than , but if you're willing to risk a I'd have to say that I wouldn't bid that much even if he were brand !
. . . you guys totally suck. My soul is worth way more than two cents, or one waffle. It's gotta be worth five cents, or 30 waffles EASY. Oh yeah, and I don't reek of the Dark Side . . . at least, not much . . .
