I followed Obsidian's link. I think I read the article last spring, but something caught my eye since the DVD came out.

It’s quite possible they may have adopted Lyle, but I don’t think he will manifest anything interesting. His character was necessary for Claire’s story in S1, but probably has no further part to play in the story. I think he’s in the show simply because it would be weird if he wasn’t.

The pic doesn’t look like Peter to me. Looks like a very different facial structure. I have to say though, in my opinion, that picture is useless. The image in the actual episode is thoroughly – and digitally - blacked out, meaning either;

- This is a fake, and therefore useless.
or
- This is from the original shoot before the editors blacked out the face. And if it was designed to be anonymous, with the intention of removing identity, then it probably wasn’t shot with any character-specific actors.

But then the episodes I watch are not DVD quality, so I could be totally wrong. Maybe there is something on higher quality footage that can be retrieved. But I still think if it was intended to be hidden then the actor wont be the right one.

What can I say? I default to scepticism!
