You don't have to share but I figure since I don't really know anybody I might as well! Embarrassing moments always make good stores...

Okay, I've got two. First is when I was in band and my teacher couldn't remember the name of a drum and she's going, "Tam-, um, tom-" and of course I yell out, so everyone can here, "Tampon?" You should have seen people's faces! The word she was looking for was tom tom...

Oh man, I did have another one but it just flew out of my head...I'll have to get back to ya on that one...

So, anyone feel like sharing? wink

One day I see that my roots are REALLY starting to show, so I start feeling bad about it. I have no extra $$$ to get a touchup. I do however, have a box of color in the cabnet. I decide I can use that instead. Its by Loreal and its called True Brunettes. It lightens dark hair a few shades and I've used it before so I'm digging on this idea of mine. I'll just lighten up the roots and that way my hair won't look bad with the highlights growing out right? I know the box said it was for DARK HAIR ONLY and I don't plan on combing it through the rest of my hair. Just the roots.

My roots looked kinda dark within the 20 minute timeframe and I sort of panicked and brushed the rest of the mixture through the rest of my hair. I than jumped into the shower and started to wash it out. I don't think the dye was on my hair for more than 3 minutes tops. I got out and toweled my hair off and sure enough it seemed even. I let it air dry and looked at it a bit. Nice. I forgot how nice my hair looked all one even color.
I go visit with my sister Sarah. She looks at me all happy and said, "Oh you put the blue in your hair." ?? Huh? No I didn't. She said I did. (She bought me this Conair hair thing that puts temporary streaks of color in your hair. It has a blue cartrige. Its still unused.) I insist, with some concern in my voice for her, that I did not put the blue in my hair. She asked why my hair had blue streaks in it!! I said, "I hope your joking with me.", and ran into the bathroom and sure enough, where my pretty blonde streaks used to be, was blue. Not a pretty blue either. Toxic sludge blue! My mom saw it too and she was in her room with the lights off! There had been a chemical reaction with the blonde parts of my hair. I guess there was a reason for the FOR DARK HAIR ONLY warning on the box huh?
I went to church that night and no one said anything to me about it. I was so embarrassed over it.

let me make this short. i walked into a glass wall...forehead first. and left a forehead print on the glass. HAHAHAHAHA!! its pretty funny now that i think about it. it was a loud crashing noise too. everyone looked my way. but oh well...crap happens.
