Naww thats obviously a boy since the woman are very feminine. They all are wearing dresses for starters.
Interesting turn of events though. I like the scenes and im really curious what that boy has to say and what we might learn about this.
I believe he may be attempting to get mohinder to return to NY to join up with the heroes. With his disbelief in peter maybe now he will see the truth, especially if he is shown peter in a dream doing the painting or flying.
The kid could be a hallucinatory representation of a part of Mohinder's psyche, which would mean he COULD have retrocognition. I am almost loathe to speculate on anything on this show that I like so much, since I read that the last 2 Matrix movies had MAJOR revisions done to them in scripting/storyline & post-production because the original storyline (which was supposedyl vastly superior to that which was vomited forth to the public) was leaked via stolen/copied scripts, which, if true, should be an actual crime against humanity (or at least the movie-going public)

O.K. rant over
how would it lead to the found file and the key though?

If that's so, then where is this supposed masterpiece?

I like this idea. We've seen that one "hero" isn't consciously aware of her powers, and they only come out to play when her other personality is in control.
Geo this is the post that I think you are talking about
I've hidden it here in case it contains the spoilers you mentioned..
I don't think it does because it is closely related to what we are discussing here.

No, but something ELSE fits, and it didn't occur to me until you mentioned the dream. Peter had that dream after he had been with Mohinder all day. I think Mohinder does have a power, and it has something to do with visiting people in their dreams. The boy said "People come to me," implying not that the boy has that power, but other folks with that power visit him, maybe for his interpreting abilities.
This would explain better why his Dad tried to protect him and keep him out of the project....
I'm not really convinced,
I think that there are other explanations for these phenomenon other than Mohinder having powers.
When the boy says that people come to him I don't think it is through any power of their own...
I think it is their need,
expressing itself within the dream realm,
that the boy is responding to.
I'm gonna revive this thread based on a few ideas I had.
1) We know powers are related to genes
2) People with powers have kids who have powers
3) If one kid has powers, it is likely that other sibilings will have powers
Assuming Mohinder's sister did have a power, this would mean there's a chance Mohinder has a power. Mohinder's mom said she was very special. She drove Chandra to find the other Heroes. To me, this means she had powers. So doesn't this mean Mohinder has powers as well? Even if he wasn't on Chandra's list, Chandra could have removed him to protect him. Also, it could be a power he didn't think of, like Sylar's or Peter's.

OKAY DID ANYONE NOTICE in the first episode that mohinder took the picture of his dads map then went up to it and pulled off a tack does that mean he pulls off sylars tack or his? maybe our charactere mohinder has powers after after all???
I hope Mohinder doesn't have powers. It makes him a great narrator! He's watching the action just as we are, but not fully active in it.
Also, if everyone we come in contact with in the show has powers it kind of takes away the "specialness" of the characters with powers. I like the idea of having people on all sides without abilities. (Mohinder on the "good" side, Linderman on the "bad" side, and Mr. Bennet of the "Who the heck knows" side).

Well, we know next to nothing about Linderman yet to say he doesn't have an ability. I get your point though, and I agree. I especially like your blurb for Mr. Bennet!
hi i am new to the board and have been watching heroes since day 1 and have been hooked since. My theory is that Mohinder does have a power or powers but is not aware of it, i think that the boy he saw might have actually been him at a younger age and that is how he taps into his power. Also as far as powers go we have seen that other characters are displaying new abilities or level 2 of that ability if this is true for mohinder what happens when he meets up with maya and alejandro, if what we have see on the board is true, mohinder and alex share the same ability what would level 2 of that ability be. thanks.
