I think that Simone has some kind of power and isn't just a "hero" junkie. Maybe her power allowed him to dream his future. Maybe she has a closer connection to Issac than is realized.

I want to comment on the speculation that Peter was the one who froze time when future Hiro showed up. That is completely idiotic. Peter hadn't met Hiro and couldn't mimic. Hiro knew Peter and Willed all to be frozen exept peter, then realized that he looked different without the scar. Hiro didn't say "are you peter"... he said "peter?" both imply different things. The second implies, "man! I barely recognized you." Has anyone entertained the possibility that future Hiro is from way beyond the 5 weeks later nuke? I mean, they talk about saving the world... blowing up New York will hardly lead to Armageddon. Unless there is a much bigger game at stake, and this bomb is just a small part to the end game. In the process of saving claire the problem is solved but there are larger things at stake. His powers aside, Hiro did not stop time and learn perfect english and get nifty new clothes and a weapon. People use his power as an excuse to ignore the possibility of a larger arc. The writers have hinted to the claire arc being resolved before the end of the season... which adds credence to the Idea that she is an important part of the puzzle but not the end piece. Okay I'm winded.

Maybe the reason why Future-Hiro asked if he's Peter is the scar. When he travelled back to past and froze everybody, he knew he dont want to freeze Peter, and he didn't, but just didn't recognise him.

How much time does Peter need to mimic the power???
- When he jumped off the building, first they both started to hurtle, Pete could fly after a while, didn't he?
- He's been with Isaac for some moments when he started to se the rest of painting.
vs
- When the time froze in the subway, he saw it slow down... (I liked that scene Very Happy

)
