I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few mind-powers coming from this kid. Telepathy, telekinesis, etc wouldn't be too unimaginable. Even if his power is super-genius and nothing more, he could have alot of potential in terms of inventions, strategy, etc.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that Micah's powers would end up being related to both his parents. If that's true, then it may be Astral Projection. Think about it, his mom has a Hulk-like split personality and his dad can phase through solid matter, so what do you get when you combine those? An alternate self that can pass through walls, or Astral Projection.

in a TV guide thing it basically says micha will have powers i read it somewhere on this site

I think he just has a phycic link with everyone within ~50 miles.

not a strong one though. thats why is enchancing his learning/understanding and also why he knew his dad would be ok.
(knew where his dad was, and where officials were looking)

Micah's Dad shows up for a split second in the end of Ep.5 (Hiros) after Nikki hears something in the bedroom. She goes to check it out and finds nothing, so she returns to the living room. The camera pans to DL standing in the room.

His power is making himself intangible (ala Kitty Pride in X-Men), which is how he "Houdini'd" his way out of his cuffs and escaped the police.

Oh! Micah having astral projection would make so much sense and be really cool as well! If not I'm think maybe he'll have some psychic power!

I think there are some fundamental differences which turn your reasoning just off center...

first off... Nikki's condition is debatable... an alternate person may be misconstruing the actual situation... her alternate personality may actually be a divided personality (each side has certain qualities which the other lacks, thus the two actually come together to form a whole)...

also, I'm still comfortable in assuming that both Nikki's personalities inhabit one and the same body at all times...

and an astral projection is an ejection of spirit from the physical body... there is no duality of being two different people... assuming the body is nothing more than a shell-like vehicle for the soul/spirit, then astral projection is little more than stepping out of the vehicle... the spirit remains the same individual in all other respects... here is where I really dont see the connection between a double-personality and astral projection... because there is little duality involved in astral projection if you really think about it... it is only a part of a person seperating itself from the whole

and DL... well we dont know how his power works, but the popular opinion seems to be through manipulation of his physical density... this is how he walks through walls... I assume that an astral body passes through walls because it has no physical make-up to speak of... it is a thing which exists in a different manner from the physical world, probably on a different plane

I understand where you get the impression that these things are related, but it's only superficial... looking at the nature of these different things, they are really not very related

cool... I would actually love to see astral projection in the show... it would intrigue me a great deal... but, like you, I see power sensing as the most likely candidate if he does indeed have any hard power... it would make sense... but I'm rooting for super-genius as standalone... I think it would make him a much more interesting character

but when I asked "How, Why" i meant that how does astral projection makes sence with Micah' extreem intelligence... Because all we know is he is much more intellinegt than other children of his age. Whats more, i sort of remember reading somewhete that his power is NOT similar to his parents (i dont remember where, sry...) and knowing that until now there hasn't been two similar powers, i don't think he would end up with mixture of two.
Finaly i think, knowing nothing but he's super clever, i don't want to guess yet.
