Maybe we just haven't seen enough of them yet, but I just don't find them at all interesting. Their powers seem oddly specific to each other, which could prove interesting if they're separated. My running theory is that Sylar will gain Maya's trust and use her to kill until he gets his powers back (if he ever does). Alejandro seems to be on the fast track to getting killed as it stands.

Personally i think Maya's power is an incredibly fast spreading disease, and Alajandro's power is simply the ability to pull all of the disease in the area into himself and nullify it. when he grabs her hands while shes killing everyone Maya and everyone around them's eyes turn back to normal and his go black for a moment while he nullifies it

This whole story arc has been weak, and am I the only one who thinks the "tears' effect is ultra cheesy? This part of the story is weak, but can be resurrected by a revived Syler. Imagine if you will...after killing Al, he arrives in NYC, kidnaps Molly to bargin for Mohinders cure, gets his powers back and becomes a "hero" as he has ALejandro's cure power. He then is the GOd he always wanted to be...I hope something good happens, as this arc rates a big fat goose egg. mexican

No I think it's totally cheesy and unnecessary. I mean how many times do we have to see that? Ok her tears are black, tell us what it is instead of showing us the same thing over and over.

It would be OK if they squeezed it into 3 eps total, but they dragged this concept out so long that it's like, OK she cries then people die, can she please die now so we can get this over with?
