Anyone else picking up on this??

Is it not possible that Sylar, HRG, and Voodoo time traveled to that point, as Matt has yet to be associated with or seen with any of the Heroes. And, if so, would that not make the girl, possibly Claire (as already theorized).

Until I see Matt with a current newspaper, or someone/something suggesting he is from the same 5 week time period to bomb countdown, I am believing he is from the past.

why is the fashion the same as 14 years ago.

if the story is contemporary let's say Peter/Isaac/Nathan time right, what was the date that hiro travelled to intot he future was it 2006?

IF matt is from approxx 12-14 years ago? that would make it 1992-1994 have you taken a look at some of the wierd stuff people wore back in the day? plus the cop uniform would be diff, and where is matt from? is he NYPD? do we know that he is from NY?

I think it is a fair guess, that subway Hiro is from the distant future, post bomb ... MUCH more than 5 weeks. His english is VASTLY improved, his image and demeanor has matured...not all playful and wispy.

So, Matt distant past ... subway Hiro, distant future. MAN, ya could make a multi-season TV show out of that much time. Oh wait... *blush*

and suprman7, future hiro is from much much later... he's for a full braided pony tail. that would at least take years... if i'm not mistaken it goes down to the middle of his back, if not longer

i thought it was safe to assume that everyone's(well maybe not sylar) powers started emerging after the solar eclipse.

I have to agree with Fatboy. At first, I bought into this theory. however, the powers started with the eclipse. Everyone got their powers at the same time, so this wouldn't make sense.

this painting from isaac's collection shows a man holding a foaming glass of water. in next week's episode we see Matt interrogating some "unsub" (that is CSI and Criminal Minds talk for unkown subject Razz

), Matt is obvously getting worked up and he starts making the water in the glass bubble. SO if isaac drew this, it hasn't happened yet, everything we know about Isaac is that he is a soothsayer.. so Matt = past is offically debunked.

unless Isaac can only see things in the past but there is no indication of that as of yet...

Here's my stab. The first episodes show the different time lines. The memories (and abilities) of some of them have been supressed but as the need grows stronger, they are all being drawn out and drawn together. Kindof like "the Stand."
