Okay, Here is my newest theory. Thanks to a co-worker.
If all of the Heroes that we keep seeing are shown to us in different time frames. In other words all the different scenes take place in a different time, Like the past versus the Present, and they are all going to be locked into a current time when they all meet in Las Vegas, or New York. Slowly they are coming together. This could be how HRG is able to be in 2 places at once. They are showing us different time frames. So on to my Theory.
What if the Little girl that we saw Matt and FBI agent save was in fact Claire??? So that means that Sylar Killed her Parents. That's why she is now a foster kid. So in fact save the Cheerleader means save the little girl. That is why Sylar was after her. Maybe he can travel in time and he knows of Claire's future and knows that she will be the one to stop him so he is going back in time to stop her.
I'm full of theories, and I cant wait till tomorrow night. This is going to be an episode that will answer a lot of questions, and leave more to be answered....
As soon as they opened up the whole time travel thing i'd been thinking along similar lines. We don't realy have much tieing them all together in one exact time and they definitly jump around in time while telling the stories. Only monday will tell!
I had not thought about the little girl being Claire. I guess it could be possible. It seemed to me that there was something going on with the girl, but I just hadn't thought that that could be it. It is defintely hard to tell with time travel exactly what time all of the characters are in. I guess we will see.

While I don't think it's correct, it is an interesting theory, and definately possible. But it would take a catchup/clip show to straighten the frigging plot out if that's the case.
I think new concepts make me long to go over every episode all over again and feel out other possibilities. All of these theories kind of have my brain overloading.
Interesting theory, but watching the episode again tonight I noticed this: they mention the girl's name, and it wasn't Claire. I forget exactly what it was, I think it started with an M, but it wasn't Claire.
Not to say that it's an impossibility, but generally, children adopted at that age don't have their names changed. Also, Claire doesn't remember her parents, but the girl would have been old enough to. So unless Voodoo man wiped out her memories of them, I don't see this as being likely.

That really is a great and interesting theory. If that were the case, then it may explain why Sylar didn't just kill her on the spot (like her parents) when they were in the basement of the FBI HQ place in episode 3 - because he couldn't, because Claire can heal herself. Furthermore, in the "present" timeline, this would mean that as a child she somehow was obtained by Voodoo guy and HRG, and that her memory of her real parents were erased as well as her real name. Thus, they were able to rename her Claire. If Sylar really is going back in time to stop/kill her, then he and HRG/Voodoo guy must not be on the same side, because if they were, then why didn't HRG kill Claire when he first found her. This may suggest that HRG is on the side of good. Just a little food for thought to help support your uber-cool theory

This has me thinking as well - especially after getting the fix last night. It's not like the clothes or hairstyles give away the time. Could it really be?
As for changing her name, she might have been so traumitized by the whole death of her parents experience that they changed her name before letting her be adopted out.

I've been thinking of the possibility that HRG is on the good side for a couple weeks now. Cool theory indeed....
What if HRG is trying to find Sylar before he becomes Sylar? So HRG and Voodoo go around finding mutants and erasing their memories so they won't know who they are, and thus can't become Sylar......my brain hurts.
