Reminded me of what Icenine said. Everyone started getting their powers with the solar eclipse. I even remember Matt watching it.

Actually, if you want to get technical, there's not even an eclipic path that crosses over LA or NYC, so there won't ever be a full solar eclipse in those cities, but I doubt NBC cares about that. Razz

My reasoning behind the idea that Clare is not the little girl is two-fold. First the audience trying to comprehend is one reason. Not a popular thought but an idea at least.

The other reason is a bit bigger. In the painting that both Isaac and Peter heped create we see a shadow over what appears to be Clare. The shadow fits the description of Sylar. Sylar's lair has been visited by Mohinder already and for the little girl to have been Clare it must be years ago. (I have already posted on a previous thread who i think Sylar is (An old man) seen i a scene with both Nathan and Mohinder.) If it was years ago then the fashions would have changed slightly and the items viewed in the convenience store - In the scne with Matt - would be slighty different.

I find it hard trying to put into words what my brain is comprehending. If this is not clear enough please contact me where i can explain more.

Is the eclipse is the only thing preventing this theory of different years/time traveling? It could be more than one eclipse. One in the past and another in the future - showing 2 diferent ones would throw people off, because we assume it's just 1.

Peter being Sylar is do-able in the past with the little girl. He uses Hiros power to travel to the past, Claires power to live after being shot, Nathan's to fly up the wall - he just needs to met a TK for the gun pointing.

But if Peter in the present is just discovering his powers, then who is Sylar in the present?

Afraid this one is debunked, as well. However, it is now becoming a popular belief that Molly is possibly Claire-Bear's lil sis.
