If he does have a role, especially in bring down Peter, does that mean he will have to take out peter himself?

So far, Linderman has shown absolutely NO interest in Peter. HRG isn't even sure if Peter has powers right now...

Yea I think Linderman is the mob boss kind of character. It had the whole classic, "Owing money to some guy" plot going on. I do want to see a whole mob scenario come up that will cause a plethora of problems though.

I think Linderman has showns us part of Nathan's weakness. He has one for beautiful women (he slept with Niki), power (he had struck a deal to get himself $2mil to finance his campaign) and greed (he doubled his agreement after he had been caught in the trap).

DL/nikki owe him money
nathan took funds for campaign
he bought Isaac's painting
the painting he bought is about Clair
peter is looking for him to see the painting

I know Im missing some...anyone wanna fill in the blanks?

WELL...IF>..Linderman and HRG are the same person, yeah, they(he) is involved with nearly all the specials. Just a theory that was discussed in last night's "LIVE EPISODE CHAT" << (Pretty sweet, more should check it ooout).

there is no known connection to Matt other than he is a reputed mob boss and Matt is in law enforcement.

Linderman reminds me of the Kingpin. I bet he'll be a villan later on. Right now he's more of a plot device and connector between the Heroes.

There are a couple things that point to Linderman being a possible Sylar, but I also have a lot of doubts that the two villains are the same. That'd be too convenient. I just want to see Linderman once and for all. He's feels so obscure without seeing him.

I think the point is not seeing him. The whole mysterious thing goin on. "OOOOOO! NO ONE KNOWS WHO HE IS! WE ALL BE SO CUNFUDLLED!" It'll be another twist later on. Circles in circles in circles in squares an all that.
