I have a question that I have not seen asked yet. Who is Mr. Lindermen. I don't know if the rest of you have noticed, but he has something to do with everyone, almost. Could perhaps he be who HRG works for? I have some feeling that he might be connected with a lot that goes on in the plot. Any theories?

Linderman is mentioned as a gangster, but he has way too much power to be a gangster only. I think Kring has some interesting things up his sleeve on Linderman. HRG is the only one whom I do not recall having any links to Linderman. He looks and acts more like a G Man to me (I know. I have them in the family.) However, he lives better than a government operative would, so maybe I'm hallucinating.

As to theories, if I were plotting this thing I would hold Linderman in reserve as a deus ex machina (the Greek playwriting device of dropping down a god from the sky who explains what has happened and makes the plot come out right.) That's not very romantic to think about, but it is the writers who are propelling our heroes.

I have read around that some of the heroes will turn to the dark side. Linderman would be a good one to bring that about. But for all we know, Linderman is actually St. Nick with a shave.

i think linderman is a robot from the many thousand of years ago when christmass was ruled by a giant ape santa clawz and he made toys from bones and his own fecal matter. one day he was perplexed by a particular math problem when all of a sudden he was transported to an alternate timeline where his doppleganger is a mob boss intracately entangle in a web of characters with powers of super human nature and he destroyed linderman from that timeline and sold the painting to nathan thus changing the futer for that timeline causing peter to explode in a radioactive meltdown of epic proportions destoying the world and thus sending linderman the robot thousands of years back to his ownn timeline where he then forgets the last 15 years of his life and becoming a lemon merchant till he dies @ the ripe age of 37. maybe not just a theory

(ps sorry was in a silly mood and my story just got longer and longer hope you liked it now back to the real linderman theory's already in progress)
