Hello, My name is Squeaker, and I'm a Heroholic.
I only discovered this marvellous show about 10 days ago. I devoured Season 1 over a single week (mostly at the weekend, I work pretty hard). I know it's not the best way to enjoy a show. As painful as it normally is to wait a week between episodes, the gap gives opportunity to savour and reflect on the plot so far. And to enjoy forums such as this one, filled with people's ideas and predictions. Anyway, having gorged myself on the first 23 episodes, I was delighted to learn that Series 2 was already here! Hurray! I'm in the UK by the way, so I watch it all online.
I've browsed over a number of Heroes forums this week (I must join one before I explode!), and I have to say that this one really impressed me. Some of the forums out there appear to get a little testy and flame-grilled by theoretical disputes. While a couple of other boards seemed over-populated by lusty girls, who respond to even the deepest most thought-provoking questions with the answer "because Peter/Sylar is hot!" Doh! Please don't misunderstand me on the lusty girls bit. Both Peter and Sylar are indeed fine looking specimens, and crushes are great - they make the show much more fun =^.^= ...I only objected to how a couple of boards degenerated into shrines ...and I seem to have forgotten what I was getting at... hmm... well...
Ah yes! I really like -and have chosen- this forum because I've seen a lot of really good, thought provoking discussion here; enough to make me want to re-watch the entire first season, to see all these smaller plot points and subtleties which I missed on my first binge. Plus there's also a nice dose of fun discussion here, such as favourite characters and 'what's with the emo-hair' (which I will miss by the way).
And finally, I have to say, WOW! This place looks good! I love the comic frames, styles and fonts. I don't even have to read the threads; I just load the site and already I'm smiling. So thankyou for that I look foreward to getting to know tou all. Have a nice weekend everyone. Episode 25 is only a few days away!
Happy Hunting!

That's quite exciting!
Unfortunately I have to wait for someone in the US to record, encode, upload and host episodes before I can watch them online - which is usually on Tuesday.
So I better not join you lot on Monday nights or I'll see way too many spoilers!

I also just joined today, even though I have been reading the board for a long time, I just didn't join becuse I had nothing to add, people like Popkorn and Action totally dominate the theory scene here! =P |

Well, thankyou very much! The cat is a morbid take on the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. He's something of an idol to me I uploaded the full image incase you'd like it.
