In Chapter 6, Eden called HRG to update him on what she had learned by spying on Mohinder. She told him that Mohinder was going back to India, and HRG ordered her to stop him. She said she tried, and he said "We both know you can try harder."

Anyone care to guess exactly how he means for her to try harder?

Given that HRG also consorts with Mysterious Man, it's possible that he knows and works with more than one "special" person.

So, maybe Eden has some sort of control of pheromones or something that makes her very persuasive, and that's how she got Mohinder to trust her.

Any other guesses?

"try harder" implied to me jump him and make him fall in love with you. Work it baby. After that kiss i would image it would be hard to just walk away. that was a start of something kiss to me.

I am wondering why HRG has interest in Mohinder anyway? He does not appear to have any powers. My guess is that HRG wants Mohinder to use his father's work to help him locate others, but it would seem that HRG has all the info he needs through Eden.

He might have meant that she could try harder by showing him Isaac's ability. Mohinder would stay if there was some proof to his father's theory.

something powerful killed Mo's father. It tore the cab completely open, most likely telekinetic or magnetic controlling. For that matter, everything so far sylar has affected has been metal, is that not correct? stopped bullets, forced gun to cops head, crushed someone into a ceiling with a metallic cart....could be metal control instead of telekinesis?

Im thinking HRG and his people are searching for people for whatever reason, maybe to protect claire. I also think they may be working with future hiro to hep do his "DO OVER" His interest in Eden's comments about the time traveler and save the cheerleader, may have been enlightening to him as to how everything unfolds so they can all correct their first failure to stop the bomb.

This may be why VooDoo erases all memory of he and HRG so that they dont change the future any more. All the while trying to avert the bomb going off they do not know where they failed the first time so Hiro has assembled these helpers to help identify the events that lead to the failure, now they know the cheerleader is the key, they just have to find out how to line everything up right this time.
