From everything that's been going on, the present we're seeing is F. Hiro trying to make his reality loop #3. However, in order to do that, he needs three things:

1. Sylar _has_ to die. If he doesn't Peter pops, and we're back to the loop we watched last night.

2. Peter needs to gain his control. If he doesn't, then he's going to pop, and we're back to square one again.

3. Hiro needs to follow his heart, and the comic. If Hiro does as Issac has forseen, there's going to be no meltdown. Plain and simple. Hiro has the key, now he just needs to use it.

I had another thought... It's still important to keep Claire away from Sylar, even if Sylar survives into Season 2. It still might be important for Nathan to become President and start tracking mutants and thus maybe prevent Sylar tracing Claire to Paris. Sylar maybe can be prevented from killing Candice and killing Nathan.

Peter can explode and survive. The cheerleader was saved and Peter was saved. Everything so far points to the fact that Peter is the ultimate in evolution, so this is why that encounter was so important. Even if Peter pops, which in the end, I don't think will happen, then he will survive.

I think Ted will explode, I think Peter will stop him, barely in time. I think Sylar will survive. I think Claire will survive. I think NYC survives.

As far as the world? I don't know -- Sylar is still out there......

peter wouldnt need claires ability to heal if he were to explode. Ted is immune to his own ability so peter wont die if he were to go nuclear. so why does sylar need claire (obvious but for any relation to the bomb) and more importantly the phrase "save the cheerleader, save the world" has a totally different meaning all together. which then leads into claire still needs saving (from sylar in the future) so the whole saving the cheerleader is still in progress. all that happened was delaying the evitable. the .07% of people will still die due to the bomb. so whether the bomb goes off or not the world is still in danger. so claires ability really has nothing to do with the bomb. (which will go off, that wont get stopped). i think the general consensus is that peter SAVED the cheerleader so his work here is done. which isnt the case and that why hiro couldnt understand why the present wasnt changed.

make any sense?

Wouldn't it also be possible for Adam Monroe's (Kensei's) blood to have curative properties since he's a healer also? Wouldn't said company have a sample of Monroe's blood from having kept him in captivity all this time?

Also, why would the Shanti Virus mutate all of sudden? (I am starting a new thread about this topic)

I would be on-board your theory, if not for the fact, that I don't believe that these writers are crafty enough to put a clue like that into something from Heroes 360 from last year that affects Volume 2 this year... but I could be wrong!
