ok so i was looking at this nbc page and i noticed that in the interview thats featured that says "The cast on "Save the cheerleader, save the world" you see hiro being interviewed while they are filming in a museum type setting with some kind of dinosaur in the backround, and i remember one of the big spoilers was that hiro would take the sword from a museuem. this really backs it up. Another thing is that there's a banner in the museum with some Japanese writing on it and it makes me wonder if and why he goes back to japan and takes the sword. My theory is that Hiro goes to the museum, takes the sword, meets ben stiller, and the dinosaurs come alive and hiro teleports somewhere. (thats only funny if youve seen a night at the museum trailer. or it could just not be funny at all )
I also think the epidsode's soon because all of the other characters that are being interviewed are in NYC (nikki, simone, nathan, peter, matt, and DL. i don't know where mohinder's character is but he sounds pretty different in real life :]). i think this episode theyre filming is right after fallout because all of the sudden hiro's somewhere totally different, so it may even help us cross out nathan and matt on the dead person list, or they could be filming different episodes
and hi im new here! but ive been reading the forums for like a month hehe.
That's one of the most likely theories I've heard so far Penguin!
But why would Hiro go back? Does something scare him into jumping back....into the past? We know he can't control his ability, so it is possible by jumping he causes the rift the rift that brings a real, live T-Rex to NY. I'll buy that!
He fights someone in the museum after taking the sword, in front of a display of a life size t-rex. H e does not jump back into the past
So the T-Rex is REAL but NOT LIVE? I got you! Now it's making more sense.
Maybe Dr. Mohinder Suresh has some role to play in this as well and it's the musuem of Natural History everyone is in front of AND..... (wait for it)....
if you watch the video it really looks like its in japan cause of the banner so if he goes back why would he go back? thats the only thing i wanna know
oh apparently no one gets my joke so i fail. but i do think the t-rex/hiro/sword painting comes true shortly after that.
Sorry -- did not mean to ignore your joke. Lately, I have been in "Heroes" worship mode, and have been ignoring everything else. You know, like writing something with spelling errors, but because "you wrote it" when you read it, it's ok, but when it's read by someone else, it's the absolute lowest piece of english garbage ever put on paper?
It's ok, you made a real good first post, if I was better at it, I'd come up with a witty repply and also link back to my introduction post of a couple of weeks ago!

Welcome aboard though!
thank you very much and you make me feel quite welcome! :]

This is exactly what I was thinking, Longhairdfreak. Nice job! What we must realize is that we have been deceived by most of Isaac's paintings to a certain degree (Peter flying in the air was actually him jumping off of the building, Claire was overshadowed by a HUGE shadow which was clearly just an exaggeration, the dead cheerleader on the ground was actually Jackie, and although Peter was lying "dead" on the ground at 8:12pm, or whenever it was, he did not actually die). These are just some examples of where we have been misled. Thus, I think what Penguin noticed in the Masi Oka interview in regards to it being in a museum (one with a dinosaur skeleton in the background) was fantastic. Hiro is rumored to take a sword from a museum, and according to Isaac's new painting, a Hiro-like figure is shown to be holding a sword while standing next to a giagantic T-Rex. This could just mean that, like Longhairdfreak said, the sword was on display next to a T-Rex model when Hiro took it. Wooo
oh i get it... so he's just in a museum with the sword in an exibit with a life size t-rex and its modeled to look exactly like the jurassic age or whatever!!! i was confused at first

P.S. I also understood your joke, Penguin, and I literally laughed out loud for a moment when I read it . Nice job on the interview/museum/dinosaur find btw! Welcome to the forum!
I dont think we have really been mislead by the paintings, we are making interpretations of what we think they mean, like why is the Mona Lisa smiling? We are posting in a theories thread. PENGUIN, i liked your joke, you did not fail.

I just found out that hiro's father (George Takei from the original star trek) comes to america and takes him back to japan, so I would agree with you, the museum could be in Japan...makes sense, hiro will be stealing the sword, and where would you find better swords then japan?
I am wondering what the backstory will be to Hiro getting the sword other than him getting it from the museum, i am not seeing him as a theif, maybe something happens to him that he has to grab it for defense, just dont see him as stealing it, time will tell..........
