George Takei is on the Howard Stern Show this week and this morning they brought up that George is joining the cast of Heroes. George stated his first eppy will air January 29, playing Hiro's father. He plays one of the wealthiest men in the world - a true business tycoon. Oh yeah, he only speaks Japanese...

I can't wait for the official Takei apperance!!!! He is so fluent in Japanese, Takai is a wonderful addition.

If you noticed the super powers seem to be genetic. Both Naythan and Peter Petrelli have it. Also the son of Nicki and DL has powers. Clair's dad introduces fake birth parents to Claire. He is trying to hind something about them. Could it be that they have powers too.

Also in the map they are all conected. They could all be related somehow (even though certain caracters are different races).

If Hiro's dad does have any powers, does anyone have any serious suggestions on what they could be?

I'll bet he comes to America
to bring Hiro home.
I can only imagine how Hiro's actions
would seem to his father since he left Japan,
he probably thinks Hiro has gone insane.
Meeting George Takei may be more scary for Hiro than
fighting that dinosaur we have been hearing so much about.

not all my theories work out as well as this one did.
I don't know,
I think the scenes went well with Mr Tekei
and that the episode was pretty good.
It certainly had some twists in it that I
never saw coming.

See, I felt totally let down by the way the "Hiro's Dad" scenes resolved themselves. I mean, it seems pointless to have shown them at all, in retrospect!! I no longer think that Hiro's dad works with Linderman, either. It was like a pointless sidebar to chew up airtime in which they could've shown us something much cooler!!
