I do think Hiro is trying to do his "DO OVER" that he and Ando talked about in episode 6 when he couldnt save the poker party, i incorporated another theory about Matt being in the past and that was shot down when i saw the spoiler videos posted somewhere in here. I am still convinced that Future Hiro came back to work on a "DO OVER" because the Heroes have failed before, and what we may be seeing now is actually his trying to set right what went wrong before. With his talking to Peter and telling him what to do when the phone rang has changed what happened the first time. The first time they may never have even tried to "Save the cheerleader", how it all falls in line is yet to be seen. But this is my Theory and untill i see it cant be, i will look for clues to support it, and as they fall, i will dream another dream.

I can agree to this idea. If they succeeded, I doubt it was all thanks to Future Hiro telling them to save the cheerleader, and that afterwards Hiro goes back in time to do tell the past that. It would create a paradox. Who first told them to save the cheerleader. Someone had to realize that that was what needed to be done without Hiro's telling them, or the source was told by the same source in another time period, so forth and so on to infinity. Thus the idea really randomly came out of no where.

Also, if he succeeded, would he be wearing that funky war gear. I doubt its just for style. Unless its alluding to what they do after the bomb explosion (Hiro continues his Heroic journey to fight rapscallions up to no good.

Hiro's war garb likely came from need, but who knows with Hiro. If they fail then who knows how many times or attempts he is trying to undo, we are only seeing one. I have also thought that maybe they will try and fail during this season, which would set us up for next season to try another path to success, possibly with a different combination of heroes trying to achive the same task, who is to say that these we know about are the only ones or even the correct combination, this would lead to new characters each season and a chance for reoccuring roles, and new story lines. What if Hiro fails repeatedly only to discover his first success at turning the clock back for one second started all the chaos. what if NBC really doesnt want to get to complicated like you have said so they can sell it easier, Hmmmmmm I am glad it is Monday so we can all start over as we get shot down LOL . I like your ideas Cap!

How about this. Ando notices the gun, which is what leads them both to the bathroom. Had they been in the room they both likely would have been killed. Maybe Hiro's do-over was simply to get Hiro and Ando to safety, without having to confront Niki. Future-Hiro is the one who caused Ando to pick up something on the ground and notice the gun, which leads to their ultimate safety.
