| i think ando will still be around for a while somehow . hiro does seem on the verge of gathering his abilities and moving into an important phase of his "mission" so ando may well fall by the wayside. |

Very good points all -- I have only one thing to shoot it down with...
What if the symbol on the "katana" itself is evolving in the show's creators' minds? Therefore, this will account for the differences. Otherwise, I am sure, they have a really good reason as to why there is a difference...
We still don't know if there is a little story to be told (within the context of the bigger one) of Hiro going back in time, or even going further forward in time. Who knows what happens to him there, OR to his sword? |

When Hiro “stops” time, wouldn’t it be logical to assume that all things around him stop?
This would include all movement on the molecular level and thus heat.
Will a fireball, as seen when Hiro saves DL, burn Hiro, or would he be able to pass directly through as if it were simply a gas?
On the same note, if he were stranded in the arctic would he become cold? It seems that the stopping of time has no effect on any part of his anatomy so I would assume the same on the molecular level. However because he is able to act on his surroundings in a physical manner, it is possible that his own body heat could still be transferred to the surroundings and thus cause him to become cold. However, the surroundings would not vibrate, but rather would move and then stop. This seems to violate the conservation of energy.
This has even greater implications.
If time is truly stopped, then photons should also be stopped and there would be no way for hiro to see.
I’m still uncertain what affect a true time stoppage would have on the movement of sound. Theoretically, any time he moved or spoke he would create a vacuum in his wake as no atom or molecule would move back to replace the space he displaces. Wouldn’t the lack of movement on the molecular level have an effect on his ability to breath as well?
My initial theory would be that Hiro hasn’t actually stopped time, but is rather moving near the speed of light. This would allow him to remain in the normal world without actually breaking any physical laws…except the fact that E=MC^2 would make him pretty much infinitely massive. It would however allow him to process light in a normal fashion, since the theory of relativity covers nicely the implications of watching something moving the speed of light while moving the speed of light yourself.
Unfortunately the whole “infinite mass” thing causes problems of its own. For instance, if he was actually moving the speed of light or near it, merely touching something would cause it significant harm when he reentered normal speed.
Think of getting poked by something moving the speed of light…
Perhaps I am making a mistake somewhere, if anyone has any insight on this seeming paradox please respond! |
Umm.....your theory is OK, but, ummm...IT'S A SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why do you care sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much?
Besides...does he move faster than the speed of light when he travels back in time? wouldn't that kill him or sumthin?
And in the newest episode (on march 5th), he travels forward in time...how does THAT happen? hmm? |

the only difference is the style
for example, if i write...
hi!
and
hi!
is there a difference in the word? no.
besides, this is supposed to show that the museum one is fake. DUH! |

how does hiro make replicates of himself....
theoretically, when someone travels through time, they shouldn't exist within the time they skipped over... like Hiro in the first and second episode... when he called Ando, Ando said he was missing for 5 weeks.... and when Peter traveled through time he was announced dead.... (in this most recent episode of heroes)
but in FYG Hiro and Ando traveled through time and they found themselves in the future.... theoretically those older versions shouldn't exist.... my only proposed theory is that they traveled into a PARALLEL timeline where the versions they encountered hadn't traveled through time... (except for ando cause he was already dead)... obviously they did this by accident cause they were just trying to get from las vegas to new york...
so I think, not saying if its correct or not... just thinking...., that space-time manipulation has a bigger effect and can not just manipulate one timeline, but change the fabrics of other timelines..... (ANYONE FALLOWING CAUSE I BARELY AM?!!?!?!?!) |

it is not the same sword. one was the fake in the museum, the other one maybe real. As his father explained, he didn't need the sword anyway. with Hiro going back and forth through time, he could pick up any number of replicas. Also he got the original when he was in the past. also, sylar broke one of the swords.
Hiro Nakamura vs. Adam Munroe. instead of how do you stop an exploding man, it will be how do you stop an immortal?! |

| I'm just happy because Hiro came back in the present, in this 7 episodes i found his story very boring... but I liked the character of Adam |

| They seem to be ignoring the real rules of time travel though. If you change anything even in the recent past, it is going to have noticeable effects on the present. For example, do you really think that having a vengeful Adam running around for 350 years won't affect the story at all? he would change a bunch of random things that would have a huge impact. |

You right indeed it hasn't any sense... When i used to watch charmed if something changed on the past changed in the present too |

To me it seems pretty clear that that was supposed to have happened. think about it, all of the storys that hiro heard as a kid as it turns out were really about HIM, not Adam. Hiro was the Takezo Kensei from his storys. Adam cant die unless someone removes all of the blood from his body in an instant since his blood is clearly the source of his regenerative power. |
