Bam! the actor that plays sylar, for all you people who don't use IMDB.

Good post. I would assume this is Paul E. Sylar born 1962, from the newspaper clip in Sylar's apartment. NOW, the question is ...is this THE "Sylar" everyone has been talking about, or does he have a son, daughter, nephew. Did they name "Patient Zero" after him, because he was the one who started/discovered the genetic mutation.

Just keeping an open mind here. OH ...AND>.. does this actor appear to be homeless guy that has been suspected thusfar.??

It would take a hell of a lot of makeup and perhaps some facial reconstruction to make this guy look like the homeless guy... so no.

i just noticed that on imdb a few minutes ago..i told myself that i wouldnt go there as it may have some spoilers. blah..i went anyway. lol

sean bean? I thought that was him too. But for him to play syler? I don't know. But then again, a lot of movie stars has been taking tv roles lately. But hen again, maybe they're just usingihis pix.....?

He has done a lot of show over in the UK. Aways plays a lot of powerful characters so it seems befitting that he is to play Sylar.

He looks as if he could be sinister with the right expression on his face. This looks good i cant wait to see how this plays out!

Sean Bean has decent range. Take into consideration whom they have casted for every other role. The casting has been fantastic so give them benefit of doubt on this one, and lets see how it plays out.

I personally think Sean Bean is an odd choice, but Sylar is likely to be a very complex character. Until we know his demeanor we should assume Sean Bean is a good fit :O)

Just my 2 cents.

I think it's perfect. Right now, Sylar is like the Boogie Man to us. Casting Sean will make him a sympathetic figure.

I think that a movie's guy like Sean Bean being in a show like this would mean he will soon die or leave the show... no more than 1 season.
