The uber geeks in this forum have been waiting for a long time for these news. Here it finally is:

Power on for "Heroes" video game

"Heroes" gets it's own Video Game for all next generation consoles and for the PC!

I will be buying the PC version.

Hooray!

So what do you think of the game as it was described in the news article?

Eeeehhh....While at first it sounds really exciting to be able to play as our Heroes...I've read and played enough games based on shows to know that it's rare to find a good TV show-based game. Since Ubisoft is the company behind it, I'll hold out some hope. If initial reviews are good, I'll get it. Otherwise, I'll have to stay away. I'd rather my Heroes experience not be tainted, you know?

On a side (sort of related) note...how on EARTH are they going to try and make a LOST game? How would that even work? There's so much mystery in the plot that I don't think anything good could come out of making it into a game, unless the writers make up a special story for it. I don't know. I'd still be more willing to play a Heroes game than a LOST game. I can sort of envision how the Heroes game would play. LOST.....not so much. [/OT-ness]

Which character are you looking forward to playing the most? Besides Hiro? Because I totally know that's what you're going to say...

I will definitely TRY Sylar for a while, until the novelty wears off. Oh, and I also want to try Peter! But yeah, I am "Hiro" all the way!

I Think "Lost" could work, if they concentrate on the central mysteries and trying to solve them. They might make it sort of like MYST. You think?
