I do not think that they are different physically. We have not seen that section of flesh in Nikki 1.0 to determine if there is or isn't a tattoo there.
Actually, we have. Episode 5, when she's getting out of bed, the weeks to come preview, etc etc.
Also in Episode 1, where she's stripping for the camera. She's topless, back to the camera, and there's no tattoo. Definitely not there.
Isn't the stripper Niki 2.0? So ... why has the tatoo shown up on Niki 2.0 only when she does the politician? Maybe Niki 2.0 got it put on just before off-air? Since they only take one of them, could the tatoo come from Mr. Bennet from a moment before when they "bagged and tagged her" again off air?
How is it PHYSICLY possible to have her body have a tatoo, then not have it? She swiches personalities, not bodies. We notice this in the elevator with the goon. He is grabbing her, and she just turns her head and says "Niki isn't here anymore."
UNLESS it's some weird pahsing thing, where a version of "niki" from a parlell dimension/time-stream can enter the "space" of Niki at any moment. Maybe when she gets really stressed or concerned or something? Then maybe?
But, this still does NOT explain WHERE the tatoo came from!
And OOOPS if "Niki isn't here anymore" we can't REALLY TECHNICALLY call her alt Niki 2.0 anymore because apparently her alt goes by a different name than Niki!

The other Niki is an additional personality. It's similar liks Isaacs power, he take heroin to switch it on, but Peter demonstrate that he not need heroin to activate the power.

Shes not dead. Not by a longshot. Ok, lets break it down:
DL has an unknown, but reasonably firm grasp of his power. Ref: Comic 5, he had a montage in which he learned phasing and broke out, and breaking out would have involved alot of phasing through things.
This one is up to speculation...
DL grasped her heart Ref: DL phased through her chest and held his arm there. Niki was disabled and began blacking out (her hearing left her and time seemed to skip). Going off the previous assumption about DL, Niki's reaction was from the sensation in her chest, not nessesarily from solely being phased through.
The other objects which DL phased through were not distorted as he passed through them.
From everything I've seen, there is evidence for several outcomes of what is to become of Niki. The two strongest are:
1)Niki will come back with control over her power without the instability of her alter-ego.
2)Niki will come back with her alter-ego in full control of her body perminantly (for the time being).
The two main pieces of evidence to consider are that Niki is lying with her right shoulder covered up, preventing us from knowing which side she is at the time, and the painting that Isaac rubs paint off of to discover the RNA symbol, which may be symbolic of a change to Niki's personality towards her alter-ego.

My frakin' DVR cut off the last bit of the show. I saw Isaac rubbing the paint off to reveal the symbol, but I don't know what happened after that.
Eden arrives at Isaac's place a moment later, Isaac answers the door, she claims to be an admirer of his work, and asks if she may step in. It then goes back to Niki who is still on the floor with her right shoulder covered. Thats it.
Also, one more thing to add for Oxigen and just a general information:
At the beginning of the episode when Mojinder is speaking about evolution, there are paintings. If you watch it while listening to what he says, there is correlation between the paintings and his words. When he says, "...And what is yet to be born..." There are two pictures shown...
One is Niki (before Isaac rubs off the paint covering her shoulder) and I can't make out the other, though I'm certain it'll make sense in heindsight.

Well yes, you're right, i can watch only on Tuesday morning and until that i will never risk to be spoiled (don't go online near Heroes-pages...), but there may be somebody who haven't seen it

Being a comic book nerd like HIRO let me just say, NIKI's two halves one having a Tat and the other not is not unlike Bruce Banner......mild, meek, small........and His counterpart Hulk.......strong, angry, green or grey! When dealing with Flying, phasing, teleporting, indestructable, telekinetic people when does it become out of the realm of possibilities for a women with two distinct personalities to have two physical presences?
Also if you notice when she was crying in front of the mirror and talking to her other half, her hair was kind messed up and her other half had perfect hair! It was styled and her makeup was perfect. Watch the scene over again, they go back and forth as she talks with her other half Normal Niki looks terrible, upset, reddish eyes from crying. Niki 2.0 perfectly made up hair, makeup, everything.
And when she turns into Niki2 she becomes "perfectly made up hair, makeup, everything" as hardcorekciks said.
I am so very impressed with the actress who is playing Niki. She truly seems transformed from Niki 1.0 to Niki 2.0. While the face is of the same person, the faces look totally different. Niki 2.0 looks strong and defiant. Niki 1.0 looks tired and weak. I am just so impressed! You can tell immediately which Niki you are watching!

Watch the episode again and take notice when he comes through the wall it goes all "wavy" as my wife put it. It ripples like water when you throw a stone in a pond. I would for one call that a distortion.

I am starting to subscribe to the Time traveling theories, where Matt is in the past. I feel the heroes will fail, some will not survive, we know Hiro does, and i think he is doing a "DO OVER" like he talked about after not saving the guys at the poker game. Now, as far as Eden, I am thinking that there are more than one time travelers, she MAY be one. Along with the Matt in the past theory, it goes along to say that Molly is actually Claire, with Claire being her new adopted name, I am thinking that a time traveler went back and tried to kill claire.
