i think that at the end of the episode, peter was screaming while sylar was cutting his head. i think in the next episode the fact that he was screaming, coupled with sylars super hearing will stop sylar from cutting his brain out, allowing peter to escape

oooooh NICE...but i'd much rather another hero show up. OMFFGGGG i just realized...nathan is like THE only other person that knows/could possibly know that Peter is at Mohinder's place right!?!? OMFG how much would that pwn. Im not sure which id rather see.....peter being rescued by someone cool, or peter whoopin some arse

This has been bothering me ever since I watched this episode last night. I joined just for this. Didn't HRG just get shot by the Haitian the previous episode!? What the hell happened with that. He seamed perfectly bullet free in this episode.

if u noticed at the start when he was talking to thompson, Thompson said something like " dont get to jumpy or the stiches will come undone" which means HRG was patched up

Well, now we know how Peter gets the scar that future Hiro talks about! This means that Peter certainly survives, but I don't think he will save himself, not in the situation he's currently in. I think that either Nathan or another Hero will come to his rescue. I'm not sure what will happen to Mohinder though, he might survive.

Somebody will have to stop Sylar for good, most people think it will be Peter, though he's not looking so great right now. Wink

Ok, First. I doubt that Linderman is Peter or Nathan's Biological father. Mainly because of the hit he put out on Nathan and because there are too many family connections going on at the moment for them to have another one like this.

Peter will escape from Sylar all by himself, If you watch the trailer for the next episode on the home page of this site it appears that Peter is throwing Sylar around the room with Telekenesis (either that or Sylar is getting his arse kicked by an invisible man, which i would also love cos more Claude is always good).

And sylar will unfortunately escape cos he still has a painter to kill, as Isaac hasn't done anything to create an alternate future yet.

And about the Petrelli father, perhaps he didn't commit suicide, and was killed by his power or HRG's company? surely either the mother of father possessed a power if BOTH their kids have powers of their own.

Finally, Hiro must be a fair way in the future. Looking at the construction going on rebuilding the skyscrapers, that would take a few months to get to that stage, or even years to clean up enough of the destroyed city to rebuild over it.

"Let's cast a couple of Englishmen in this, you know, for diversity."
"Tell you what, we could get that Christopher Ecclestone in - he's popular over here at the moment. Angry but non-threatening. He'd make a great Linderman. Englishmen make great bad guys."
"Yeah, we should definitely get him in, but wasn't he the bad guy in 'Gone in 60 Seconds'?"
"Oh yeah, I'd forgotten that. How about we cast him as the 'angry excitable loner on the run' character?"
"Isn't that a bit similar to his Doctor Who?"
"Actually, it's the only character he can play, but he's good at it."
"Okay, so which Englishman do we cast as Linderman?"
"Hmmm, Connery"
A little Englishman in the casting session pipes up,
"He's Scottish."
"So? That's in England isn't it?"
"No. That's the same as saying Canada's IN America. In fact, Canada is a quite literal analogue of Scotland if you put the US in the position of England."
"How about that guy out of Lord of the Rings"
"Sir Ian McKellan? I hear he's a cigarette.. The fans won't go for it."
"Who else has got white hair then? I'm definitely feeling the white hair thing,"
"I can't think of anyone except Malcolm McDowell, and he's in just about every movie or TV series that HAS a bad guy."
"Good, the fans won't be threatened by him then. Get his people on the phone"

Incidentally:
In England, the word spelled "eff ay gee" means "cigarette" and is not offensive
In America, it's a derogotary term for a homosexual and is considered offensive by *some*

So, why would a board with a largely american audience auto-translate that word. into cigarette? Anyone?
After I go to so much effort to translate my own English obscurities into americanisms too!

Nice call Slippy.. Can you get me a copy of that meeting? I'd like to actually hear it, even though it sounds almost like what my dad and brother were arguing over last week..

Sad to say that most folks say 'English' and assume that Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, Spain, and Poland are all parts of that. They don't include Germany because everyone knows that Germans are bad.. And Sitzerland is just a land of bankers, so they must be Jewish or something.

Actually, I'm not trying to be racist here, it's just sickening to me that folks here can be so stereotypical, and plop countries into nice little cookie cutter ideas, and accept it as fact. I feel your pain Slippy, even if you are French! (wink, wink)
