popkorn (and anyone else) dude...im getting the feeling (as many have already) that ando has a power...he HAS to. It might be that Hiro's power is greater with Ando around?

I was originally (should never have changed my mind) right about Simone. :/ She is the episode 18 death, though she's not the only one that comes close. Nathan could've been hit by Jessica/Linderman, Hiro/Ando could've been hit by Linderman's guards, Mohinder's lucky Sylar's keeping him alive, and Peter... well, we won't know until April 19th (or 18th, if Canada keeps getting them early. Bastards.).
this is to that one guy that went crazy supersaiyan on me saying i think ando has a power. I NEVER SAID EVERYONE HAS A POWER! yes, there ARE regular humans, but i dont just say "HEY ANDO hAS A POWER! YAY!"
no...infact, im barely starting to THINK he has one (not that he ACTUALLY has one) just THINKING he has one this episode because there have now been TWO instances where something weird has happened. Are you telling me u dont think it even a LITTLE weird that after hiro "lost" his powers, that ando was there when he slowed down time, AND when the bullet flew back into the gun, AND when they both concentrated to teleport to "future new york." I think the fact that Tim Kring (creator of heroes) chose to show hiro +ando BOTH CONCENTRATING/HAVE THEIR EYES CLOSED both the times. That has to mean SOMETHING.
Of course, it could be that he's messing with us. Am I alone on thinking maybe he has a power, or SOMETHING. I mean they REALLY zoom in on him closing his eyes and concentrating with hiro. TWICE.

Peter and Isaac in New York. Simone is on the floor, dead. Isaac says it was supposed to be you to Peter. Peter picks her up, carries her across the room. "It's your fault" says Isaac. He shoots at Peter, who goes invisible and runs out the door.
Las Vegas. Hiro comes off the escalator, he is accused of cheating. He is thrown out, and tells security he will not be stopped.
HRG and his boss, HRG says he doesn't remember anything. It's all grey, blank. HRG says he wants his daughter home, safe. He doesn't care if they kill him. HRG wants to go after his daughter, he is denied. "You expect me to do nothing?" HRG asks. "I expect you to do whatever we tell you."
On the other side of the glass, Matt says HRG doesn't remember anything. He's chained to a chair, the deal was they would let him go if he helped. They aren't letting him go.
The Haitian and Claire, somewhere on Route 290. She wants to go back to her family, she is told she cannot. The Haitian says she cannot understand the sacrifice her father made for her. She steps out of the car, The Haitian makes a phone call on a payphone. "Is it safe to go back?" she asks. "No, we leave the country tonight."
Nathan Petrelli, the FBI wants to talk to him in his office about illegal contributions he's received from The Linderman Group. Switcheroo - he's working with them to help bag Linderman. They want him to wear a wire during his meeting with Linderman tonight. Nathan turns, Peter is right behind him. He asks Nathan how long he's been working with the FBI. Nathan notices the blood on Peter's face, Peter tells him it's Simone's blood and she's dead because of him. Nathan says Peter needs to stay with him, Peter says as long as he's alive everyone is in danger. Nathan says they can contact Mohinder, Peter says it's too late for that.
HRG and his wife, they are in a hotel room. She thinks Claire is at a cheerleader camp. HRG says he needs to take a trip, she says he can't. His wife tells him that he told her yesterday not to let him go. She remembers everything, her memory wasn't wiped. She gives him a note in his own writing that says he shouldn't go. "I couldn't love you enough" he says. The young woman who works for his boss (Vault) knocks on the door, tells him Isaac's girlfriend is dead. He resists going, she says he doesn't have a choice. She forces her way into the hotel room. "I like your hair" she says to HRG's wife.
Sylar and Mohinder, working on Mohinder's laptop. Mohinder is worried about Sylar getting to the others with powers first, Sylar says he will help him. "You've given me hope" says Sylar. "Hope is great, we need caffeine" says Mohinder. Mohinder gives him a glass of chai tea. "Who are we going to call next?" asks Sylar. "No one, I already have you Mr Sylar" says Mohinder. The screen goes blurry, Sylar hits the floor.
Hiro, sitting in Vegas. Nathan greets him, he is exuberant. "Not here" says Nathan. He asks Hiro if he is still trying to steal the sword from Linderman. Hiro tells Nathan about sending Ando back to Japan. Nathan says when he first met Hiro he thought he was nuts, Hiro says he tells him he thought he was mean. "It's important that you get your powers back?" Nathan asks. Hiro says it means everything. Nathan fakes out security and gets Hiro in.
"Vivian Lewis" asks Claire. "I do not keep you happy, I keep you safe." says the Haitian. They are in the airport. She wants to see Peter again, the Haitian tells her she can't. She takes the Haitian's passport and ditches him at security.
Isaac in New York, the NYPD are at his door. They flash a photo of Simone, say neighbors heard gunshots. Simone walks in the door, asks what is going on. The police leave. HRG enters. "Candace is special, just like you" HRG says. Reality shifts and Simone is Candace (Vault) and Simone's body appears on the bed again. Isaac says he can't stay here, HRG says you'll stay here and keep painting.
Jessica and Micah, playing Heavenly Sword on the PS3. Jessica tells mirror Niki she does a better her. DL enters, flashes a photo of Nathan. She lies about Linderman calling her to be a dealer, that she wouldn't do anything she didn't want to. She kisses DL, he smiles and turns. As he turns he frowns. Jessica loads a gun.
Mohinder has Sylar tied up. "You are the man who murdered my father" says Mohinder. You killed my father and fed off his work. Mohinder uses a tuning fork on Sylar, the sound hurts him and he admits he is Sylar. Mohinder says he knows what to do with a parasite, kill it before it kills again. They discuss Mohinder's father, Mohinder yells "You know nothing about my father!" Sylar tells Mohinder that his father confided with him about things that he couldn't with his own son. Mohinder says he won't kill him, he's going to take a sample of Sylar's spinal fluid. "And it's going to hurt. Alot. You might as well do some good before you die" Mohinder says as he throws Sylar's head forward and inserts the needle. Sylar screams in pain.

Hiro gets off the elevator, Isaac's paintings are everywhere. He puts the painting down. It's the ripped painting, repaired with scotch tape. There is art everywhere, he asks the curator for a receipt. He puts the name of the sword into the computer, and a drawer opens. "I found you" he says. The curator pushes a button, lockdown mode is initiated. Ando is the guard, he knocks the curator out! "What about the other 753 members of security?" asks Hiro. They barricade the door.
Nathan talks to the FBI agents, the door to the FBI agents hotel door opens and it is Jessica. She tells them to put down their weapons and get on the floor. She shoots them both.
Sylar is pleading with Mohinder, to help him find a way for salvation. "Give me the damn list so I can sink my teeth in!" yells Sylar. He says he is the next step in evolution. Mohinder says he can now get revenge. He fires the gun, the bullet stops in mid-air. "I wasn't pleading for my life, I was offering you yours" says Sylar. "Maybe you can do some good before you die" he says to Mohinder, and says he wants the list.

Isaac looks at his paintings. Starts to trash his apartment, he's shot up on heroin. His eyes go whiter than ever before it seems. He paints scenes of people with their heads removed.
Nathan tells the wire he will be back, Jessica pulls his shirt off. It's Niki, she warns Nathan that Linderman knows he turned on him and that the FBI are dead. "Did you come here to kill me or warn me?" he asks. Just trust me she says.
HRG and his wife make small talk about Mr. Muggles, then speak about the truth. "The company has to be stopped for good" HRG says. He wants Claire to be safe. He says he never knew he could talk to her like this. Her phone rings, it isn't her. It's Candace. She shifts from his wife to Candace, HRG's boss and two other men are there. "Sorry" Candace says.
Hiro has the sword at last - "Yatta!" he says. Ando tells Hiro to leave him. Hiro says they are both going, and puts his hand on Ando's shoulder. They both vanish into the future - to the balcony. New York is in ruin, buildings destroyed. They are in the future. "I didn't stop it" says Hiro.

Claire is at Peter's place - she knocks at the door. Peter's mother answers the door. "You may as well come inside Claire." Claire enters, the Haitian is there. She tells Claire she is her grandmother and is trying to protect her.
Niki tells Nathan Linderman is going to offer him a deal, he has to take it or run with his family. Niki tells Nathan to knock her out so Jessica knows she isn't in control anymore. She tells him to take the gun. He does and knocks her out.
Nathan is with Linderman's guards, they walk through the kitchen. Linderman turns around, he's in the kitchen. Linderman asks Nathan if he likes vegetables. Linderman explains that cooking helps him relax, he's made a nice pot pie. Linderman tells Nathan he likes to see people happy, and asks Nathan if he is happy. Linderman says the time comes when a man has to ask himself if he wants to live happy or live a life that has meaning. Nathan pulls the gun. "Now you can't have any of my pot pie." Linderman tells Nathan he isn't the first, and they will both be dead if he pulls the trigger. Linderman tells Nathan he knows he can fly, knows about his brother, his daughter, all the others out there like you. Linderman tells Nathan he will win his election and in two years will end up in the White House. "A life of meaning Nathan, think about it. The choice is yours." Nathan points the gun, Linderman cooks. Nathan puts the gun down.
Peter is at Mohinder's apartment. Calling for him, the apartment is trashed somewhat and no one is there. "Mohinder?" Blood drips on Peter, Mohinder is on the ceiling. "Sylar" says Mohinder. Sylar throws Peter against the wall, says he knows him, that Peter is like him. "I want to see how that works" he says and starts to open Peter's head. There is blood, Peter screams. His trademark lock of hair hits the floor.
Deftones- hang back, dude. I wasnt yelling at you. more just using your post as a springboard for a rant on the MILLIONS of posts/ theories I've seen al over the net that "(so-and-so) probably has a power" You took what i was saying wrong. i wasnt mad at you or anything dude.
but to answer you- no. Nothing about tonihts episode made me think that.
A. Hiro almost definately never really lost his powers. It was just a combination of forces bigger than he (i.e.- destiny) preventing him and a lack of faith in himself from there onward.
B. Hiro believed that the sword would restore his powers to such a degree that getting his hands on it probably was enough of a placebo for him to pull off a stunt such as teleporting cross country and 5 years into the future.
C. Ando "concentrating" this time looked to me like he was really just believing in Hiro. and probably a little nervous as well. Last time he was "concentrating" he looked to be scared. you know... because of the gun being fired at him and stuff.
if anyone is an amplifier its molly walker.. how else would Matt hear her thoughts from so far away?!
Ooo, nice thought vault. I hope we get to see another scene with her in the future. Maybe there will be some crazy twist at the end of season 2 or 3 or 4 where we see a grown up version of Molly... hmm... now my mind's just running wild

This episode was great; guess we now know how Peter gets his scar! The one thing i'm really confused on is Claire grandmother. How did she and the Haitian meet up in the first place? I guess she knows more than she leads on, but still.
