Anybody else thinks (like me!) that HRG was resurrected by Adam/Kensei and not by Bob.......

If Adam knew that HRG was attempting to take down the company then thats a very real possibility BUT i dont think Adam did know about HRG's plans.

Cracking episode with lots of pretty rated moments scattered about which kept me hooked all the way through. I'm not too fussed that Elle got shot, as far as i care she was nasty in the first place. I'm unsure why Mo shot HRG but most of the theorists guessed right. Was rather impressed with West who seemed to go from 'evil' to 'nice guy' in the blink of an eye, always wanting the best for Claire. Personally I am again unsure why Matt's doing what he is as it seems to me that he's "playing god" and forcing people to do what he wants.

On a strange sidenote, is Mr Muggles bath still intact?

I was NOT as impressed as most people seem to be with this episode. Below will be the reasons why... But first the things I did like (and yes, this was the best episode of the season so far).

-- Hiro realizing that life without his father can be just as bearable as with it.
-- Elle waking-up to the fact that what her "truth" and "life" is all about, is not quite "complete".
-- Sandra starting to realize that Noah is more than just a Paper Salesman (priceless moment).
-- Ando trying to talk Hiro out of changing the past.
-- Angela understanding exactly how far Matt has gone with his power and still resisting. In the end, I still thing she had the upper hand (WTH is her power?)

Ok, here are the things that make no sense in no particular order:

-- As always, when things come to a confrontation "the Haitian" disappears. I personally was banking on him to be there, but NO! We can't have that. Very convenient. WHY NOT? Where does he always disappear to?

-- Mohinder has shown a certain type of morality, a certain type of tenacity and a certain type of behavior. It can be argued that his actions are consistent with a man who is trying to save the human race from a "plague" (at least this year, or the last few episodes). However, the character of Mohinder as is being written today, DOES NOT resemble the character of Mohinder we met last year when he told his mother he had "to find them, to warn them" when referring to specials. Again, this is my opinion, and maybe they successfully show the transition for the character, but I personally have NOT bought it. IF I had been in his position, I would have remained LOYAL to HRG. HRG's goals are a lot more worthwhile.

Henceforth, I hate Mohinder and his character for me has no redeeming value.

-- Claire: Ok, is it me, or did Claire grow-up last year just so that she can revert this year. I would think when Matt and Ted Sprague took her whole family hostage she already understood that there are threats out there against her and her family. Eventually, being part of the plot to blow NYC and being manipulated by none other than her grandmother, I figured that she would have an easier time of obeying her father. But the fat hits the fire, it's like we're forgetting ALL the lessons from last year. What is up with that? That is completely lame! Even teenage hormones don't explain that. And believe me, I used to be a teenager, and I am around them every day. I don't get it. Someone is smoking something on that writing staff. That whole story line is only there for only one reason....

-- Ok, so Elle does have a heart and Bob is totally evil, just as I have maintained from the start. Now do you believe me? But, is it believable for Bob, if he's really into his own goals to give-up Claire that easily and not play another card? I dunno. I don't buy it. But then again, he got what he what he wanted, Claire's blood. But why only one pint? Can his laboratory reproduce it? OR even more sinister, does his laboratory use an "indestructible special's" blood (like Claire) to produce their Shanti Virus <---- more than likely!!! ? So here's what wrong with this. Nothing. But why the frak did it take them 9 episodes to get to he main point in the whole story line. Now EVERYTHING makes sense.

I am out.

Does Anyone else' thinks that this lady that Mrs. Petrelli didnt wanted to give the name could be like... Sylar's mother or something? For now, everyone on this picture seems to be the parents of some of the known heroes we all saw until now... Or maybe she is related to Adam? Who knows.

Well i guess we will see in the next future!

And i miss Sylar too... Sad

And WTH?! Does Mrs. Petrelli has as power!!!! Im so clueless there, still trying to figure out what it could be but cannot. heh

Indeed it was a very good ep. It's too bad the WGA strike hit heroes badly. Anyway, I think that Mo's actions wern't exactly a "change in character." People can easily change their actions in situations like the one he was in. It's basic psychology; it would be trivial to say that a character MUST do this or that.

I almost think that they shouldn't have brought HRG back. I, as the viewer, really felt a sense of grief when he was shot; they should have kept it that way IMO.

Everyone seems to be speculating on the "company" etc. We can only make judgements based on two characters: Bob and HRG. We can only see and hear about the company through HRG, and even at that, it really leaves the viewer guessing. Is the company good, or is it bad? I suppose that's the biggest question. I'm trying not to bias my judgements, but it's still very hard to tell.

None of ym fav. char sylar; I think they should just leave him out at this point until S3. However, in the previews I think I heard his voice talking to Mo!!

Salute.

The lady who Angela didn't want to identify is NOT Sylar's mom. We got to see her last season, and she was accidentally killed by Sylar while he was trying to show off for her.

I'd say that she's going to be someone with more influence than we first realized. I'd say that she could also be some kind of congresswoman, or someone along those lines.

Anyway, the thing that really bothers me the most is the whole HRG West storyline at the moment.

You'd think that someone like West, who was caught and tagged by HRG wouldn't believe one word of anything that came out of HRG's mouth. However, he turned and was willing to work with him almost right away. I'm sorry, but even if I were West, and had gotten the drop on HRG and interrogated him like West did while flying, I'd still not believe anything he said, mainly for the fact that HRG uses information like a puppeteer pulling strings. Once he gets the reaction he needs, he moves on to the next string.

There are many reasons to hate Mohinder. You are correct, he has no redeeming value. If he would quit constantly hiding behind his "I want to help everyone and do the right thing" line and pull his head out of the sand long enough to see what is going on around him, he might actually be able to help things. As it is, he might be the biggest tool ever.

As for HRG, I was sorry to see him get killed. I then turned to the person I was watching with and said "The only way this could get worse is if they use someone's blood to bring him back." 5 minutes later, it got worse. Dead people should stay dead. Now we have Adam, Claire, and Peter who should all live forever.

I also think the Haitian is there, but he uses his power on the film before the episode airs Smile

I thought this was a pretty good episode. I kept wondering if HRG was going to get shot or not, and then when he did get shot, I knew that they would revive him with Claire's blood. I'm wondering if we are going to get any Jack Bauer like torture scene in the upcoming episodes? LOL! I definitely felt bad for Claire and her mom after he got shot. One thing that is bothering me is when Elle shot down West and Claire, even though Claire broke West's fall, he still wouldn't just get up and walk away from that, but oh well it's TV! The lines are so blurry here between who is right and who is wrong. I'm still undecided!

Guess Elle is Bob's daughter after all. I'm thinking that Angela's power is a mental power. At least part of it. Not much of a surprise that it was Adam who killed Kaito after all. Guess this will set up a big Hiro/Adam duel. Can't wait for next week!

Jorg... West is how old? I wouldn't expect him to think motivation through to the depth of HRG.

I agree. However, I still think that he's a bit too willing to trust someone that kidnapped and experimented on him as a young child.

To me, it would stand to reason that he wouldn't really listen to one thing that HRG would say, and would keep as much distance between HRG and himself as possible - Claire or no Claire.

Of course, that's just my take on the whole scenario...

Actually, it will have 11 Episodes. 2 more episodes and its over.

Jorm and Sami, West's motivation actually doesn't bother me that much. I think his character has been pretty consistent, as annoying as that might have been -- for a teenager.

And, although, I can make the statement that Claire is a Teenager ALSO, what doesn't compute is the fact that she was exposed to this same scenario LAST YEAR, so one thinks that she would have grown-up enough to not make the same mistakes.... But maybe teenagers are like that. They keep making mistakes over and over and over again. I dunno.

Guys, do we really have to overthink this thing? Would you, as a teenage boy, risk the wrath of a scary dude if his daughter wanted you, was superhot AND had a cheerleaders outfit to bring along on dates?!?!?!?! I'm not trying to be fresh, but the intense feelings felt by 17 year old kids are the most intense you experience...I also like the valor and loyalty and let's admit it, bravery he is showing in trying to help his Claire...I believe it, I understand it and it's cool. he is now off the "idiot" list and looks like he could be a real hero, i also like his chemistry with HRG...let's get off his back and give the boy some much deserved respect. attention

Why do we keep thinking Angela Petrelli MUST HAVE a power ? maybe the one with the power was just her husband and she was only there, in the company, helping him....

The kid did show up strong this week...I like the fly/smash combo, makes up for a lack of strength. On the flip side, why the hell are they being so secretive about the original 12's powers? Just reveal them for God sake.

When I said 'poor Elle', I didn't mean her getting shot in the arm, I meant what she learned from HRG - about what the company and her father did to her before conveniently wiping her memory. That it was apparently so terrible that it caused HRG to protect Claire so fiercely.

By the way, Bob still hasn't 'revealed' himself to be evil as such. He's certainly not what he seems, and his methods are questionable. But he might be working for the real greater good. I know he 'probably' is bad, since he fits the standard cliche of friendly-looking-but-secretly-evil-manipulator. But answer me this, have you actually seen him kill someone? Torture someone? Order someone else to kill or torture someone? I know he used the words 'take him out', but that's ambiguous - it could mean disable. And he did berrate Elle when she killed Ricky. I'm not saying Bob is good, just that he hasn't done anything infront of us to prove either way. Unlike HRG who we have actually seen committing murder and torture (the memory wiping was definitely that). We still think HRG is 'good' right? At least Bob always acts civil Smile he didn't have to explain to Claire what he was doing and why. By the way, Bob probably had a hand in (or at least gave the nod for) HRG’s revival.

As for Mohinder apparently changing character, he was not always perfect, morally pristine, savior of specials. Considering who he was in FYG, helping Sylar/Nathan persecute and hunt down the specials, I think that him being a little 'morally-grey' is understandable, if not desirable. I’m sure he thinks he’s doing the right thing.
