Ando tells Hiro his father has been murdered so I'd say he definitely saw the killer going over the edge with Kaito.

can anyone explain why adam/kensei hasn't aged one bit....perhaps he has the same powers as peter and absorbed hiro's powers to come to the future......i believe bob did say after all that he was the most dangerous one of them all.

I still think Peter Jumped Kaito and i really hope Im wrong.

I really think we are in the wrong thread for this, but, that would still leave the original question of who it was, or was it a dream, Ando was the third person there, so, Maury Brain whacked some killer, Brain whacked Kaito and Brain whacked Ando to be an Eye witness ? OR, Brain whacked Ando and Kaito then a Dream Killer was created in both minds? OR Brain whacked Kaito alone and he did a backflip with an imaginary Ando in the peanut gallery. I think there can be many combinations and theories here...............

all i was doing was answering a question for someone who asked it i related only what was shown on television.

now, my idea is that it was actually Kensei who killed Kaito for the personal satisfaction of causing Hiro Pain.

and as far as us never really knowing, i agree with you.

Well, if we're following the timeline correctly, Hiro's broken time, because he's caused some damage to the whole Kensei legend.

After all, without his meddling, Kensei would have eventually become the hero that was known about in the stories. However, because Hiro got involved, Kensei has now sworn to take everything that Hiro holds dear, and destroy it. Kaito is Hiro's father, and obviously someone that Hiro would hold as a dear loved one. Who else would Kensei target? And why would Kaito least expect Kensei, the legend and hero? Because in the stories, Kensei was good, kind, and well.. Heroic! To stoop to killing others? That's just not the legendary Kensei, no matter what way you look at it.

So I'm on the boat that it's Kensei that killed Kaito, and it's for personal revenge that the killings are now taking place. Kensei's disrupting everything that Hiro now knows about in order to exact his revenge against him. Plain and simple.

JORM, I do think the Legend of Kensei will still be told exactly as it was before, the Princess so loved Hiro that she tried to ease his pain for ruining history by recording "history", the way Hiro told it to her. that way the heroics and legend remain the same, it was always in dispute as to wether the legend was factual or fictional according to Kaitos web site ,this puts in place the horrible irony in which Hiros inspiration for being good, is the Evil that will really haunt him and he has to now oppose

this being all , IMHO.

Well, now that I think about it, there is actually one way we might find out for sure who killed Kaito/how he was killed. What if Hiro goes into the past to try and save his father? If he goes to stop it from happening, we should get some confirmation of what went on.

Great episode 7 !!!
I still wonder what Kaito needed to tell so urgently to Hiro in ep 1 before he was killed....
Any thoughts ? I guess that maybe he wanted to warn Hiro about changing the past ? I hope the next eps uncover the mystery (before the "finale" in Dec. 3rd.......)
