that might also give an indication as to what ms petrellis power is... i mean, somehow in that building all the lights went off when she was being attacked. if she was in a nightmare from mr parkman senior, then something SHE did knocked out the power as a reflex action.

if peter picks up anyones ability who he is even near to.... then he already HAS angela's power.
if it was an electrostatic charge type thing, as we suspect could be the case from her attack (IF her attacker was maury) then... then perhaps thats what the blue power bolt thing is that peter did in the container. strained link, i know, but surely its possible?
new electricity girls powers seem to manifest themselves differently so i doubt he has her power.

Well, nobody is straight black or white on this show, but his dad seems more e~VILE than a scared looser. He's a con man! Using his powers to get his way and harm people! Matt let his guard down is all .. which was a great human/reality touch! We don't al do the right thing in situations as if our lives were scripted! The actor is great! Like Sylar, at first you'd go "THIS is a bad guy? pffft ouchies, my head #_#"
I think the best/most interesting part of this episode was the Parkman/Nathan segments. I'd like to see more of Parkman's dad. Definitely someone to watch....or watch out for.
Yeah, I think we have our new Sylar/Boogieman model. The jury's still out, however, on whether Sylar and Parkman Sr. are good or bad! I reckon Sylar's going to have to turn good or join forces with Parkman Sr... having him as a solo psychopath for another season would make him too 2-dimensional
I watched most of this again with my kids. (Skipped Matt and Nathan's nightmares and discovery of Ricky's body.) We really enjoyed Monica and Micah. I like to show them people enjoying their powers, like Hiro or Monica or Micah. These characters are also very interested in using their powers to help others. I think my kids also relate somewhat to Claire, because she's still a kid, but what they see of her storyline is rather fractured.
My son said Maury was carrying a hooded sweatshirt as he left his apartment - I didn't let them watch Kaito's murder, so they don't know that Maury is not shaped like the killer. I looked harder at what Maury was carrying, and it looks like a hooded sweatshirt - probably. I don't think it means much, since Maury wasn't the guy in the hoodie on the roof and is probably not carrying the guy's clothes around. But I thought I'd share the observation.
It could be significant I guess if he can change his appearance. I'm not sure he's the killer, but I guess it's not impossible. Hooded sweatshirts are pretty common, although, why would the writers include that bit unless they wanted us to make a connection?
what if the kaito murder scene on top of the devereaux rooftop was just a dream like parkman/nathan had?
so the person tackling kaito off the roof was under the nightmare man's spell as was kaito.
that's why kaito was surprised about who was his attacker. and the killer was just tackling whatever image nightmare man was giving him.
HRG will be killed by the company or Jessica (ala attack on DL-Season 1).
I really do think it will be the company because they NOW have Molly. I predict she will awaken and "the company" will ask her to seek out HRG or Claire.

Claire was in her cheerleader outfit, and I think I also remember the caption talks about Kirsten Bell being in the pic, and it shows claire w Kirsten. Hmmmm
