Hi guys, i have two real interesting items from episode 5 and yes i did spot them myself...........
1)Peters pasport actually states that eter is Female in the gender?!?!
2)Did anyone spot the reference to Saint Joan(Monica scene with micah)........Joan of arc....Guessing all of our heroes actually have bloodlines back to ancient heroes....just my theory but who knows
Like i said i could be way off but everyone needs a theory
Welcome Andi! I must say, very interesting points you've posted. I nearly fell off my chair when I double checked what you said about Peter. You're right, it does say he's female!
Edit: Here's a screencap I took, click to enlarge.
That's a bit of a slip up by the production team then, looks like their props aren't perfect.
I think it was a good episode, no Claire, some Ando and a couple of interesting scenes with the Nightmare Man. Looks like Mo is getting himself into all kinds of stuff really, I wonder what's going to happen to Monica?
Something else is that The Company seem to have forgotten all about Micah for some reason, you'd think they'd want to bring him in. Linderman certainly knew about him and his power, so I wonder what happened. Mo wouldn't recognise Micah if he seems him while he's meeting up with Monica since they haven't met before. Talk about interesting choices of people to leave Micah with though.
Next episode looks great, from the preview it sound like Sylar is going to kill Maya soon (as I've been expecting) from what he was saying to Alejandro. Mo looks to be heading into a real sticky situation with the virus, looks like he's going to take action. Bob reveals some of his true intentions regarding the Heroes and some of their abilities.
Correct me if im wrong does Monica from what we have seen possess the power to become the most powerful Heroe of all with her copy cat power? More powerful than Syler? more powerful than Peter? She only has to see someone do something and she can do it straight away, she just has to not get killed in the early days.

"Muscle Mimic" - she can't copy any of the energy/time/space/TK/TP/superhuman abilities. She can only mimic muscle movements and can't do anything beyond what a regular human could acheive with enough grace, time and practice.
My feelings on this episode.
I'm very sad that they killed Ricky. He was an awesome character and didn't deserve to be burned alive. It seemed excessively gratuitous to me, but I guess the writers wanted to establish Elle as a powerful and cruel character as quickly as possible - and the best way to do that is to create a lovable character for her to slay. So yeah, good job, I hate her.
I’m relieved that Peter (and I guess ‘love interest woman’ Caitlyn) will be moving off now. I’d like to see a little more action and PEW PEW from his corner. The Isaac moment was awesome. I just wish he’d been in the bar to face off against Elle – he would have totally melted her face off!
It was great to see a little bit of Jessica, shame that sappy Niki woman came back though
Micah and Monica have some great chemistry. I think they picked the right actress for her role. I don’t know if any of you saw Jurassic Park 3 (crap film – don’t bother) but she was a kid in that and she did some amazing gymnastics. Least I think it was her. If she had such awesome skills as a child, you just wait to see what moves she can do now!
It was nice to have an episode without West and the twins. I’m sure they’ll all have real important parts to play in the story, but it was a welcome break from the emo, angst and teen-drama. What a breath of fresh air!
I’m glad that Hiro’s adventures in the past are nearing an end. I miss him, and it feels like he’s so far away from us because he’s so far from the other characters. Hurry up and come back (foreward)!
I love Nathan. He’s such a brilliant character; so satirical. I’m glad he’s back to something of his old self. That balcony scene was cruel though, when he thought he’d found his brother – alive. Now I’m itching to see them reunited, because I’m just a sucker for brotherly love =/ (I think I’ve been watching too much Prison Break)
Molly is important enough, as mentioned above, she’s a little acorn with massive potential. But she’s also a source of emotional leverage upon Matt and Mohinder – which will play a big role later. Like HRG said, Moh has just delivered to the company the one thing he cares for most.
Matt’s dad disappointed me. He actually satisfied all my predictions of what and who he would be, but I didn’t like my predictions I wanted him to be scary, and eeevil, and power-hungry. Turns out he’s just a coward. He’s practically Wormtail from Harry Potter, isn’t he? Skulking, hiding, scurrying to the groups with the strongest power, hoping that’s the safest place. Not caring who he ruins in his selfishness. I hope they don’t follow the redemption line with him, because I’m bored of redemption. Be proud of your shadows, people!
I think most people (including me) that it is only a muscle memory thing where she can copy actions, but not powers. The powers of the Heroes in the series are genetic, so they shouldn't be able to be copied by someone like her.
Looks like Peter is coming to my hometown of Montreal next week. They actually took a real corner street in the Old section of the city. I saw so many American movies where they use bogus geography or show landmark from one part of the city and put it where it doesn't belong.
The season seems to have pickup it's pace at last. I'm starting to elaborate theories again and it's a good sign. What if the person who attacked Ms Petrelli was Parkman's dad? We saw her alone but what if she was in a "nightmare"?
How coincidental or contrived was it when Bob gave Mohinder the Taser, were they testing his loyalty, or did Jessica just take over and he happend to be in the right place, after all she did go to them willingly and had already met with Bob.................
theory! Nikki's payment to get cured was to act this out and fool Mo into attempting to rescue her to test his loyalty to the company. he failed. Uh-oh.
What if the person who attacked Ms Petrelli was Parkman's dad? We saw her alone but what if she was in a "nightmare"?
Welcome to last week.
Kidding. I would put money on that theory.
I was not reading anything about Heroes last week, as I was still not sure about the 2nd season. To be honest, I was disappointed by the first few shows. Monday's show got me hooked again.

I'm just not feelin' the magic in this season yet. Compared to last season, there doesn't seem to be anything grabbing me, except Matt's baddy daddy. That was cool.
I feel like things haven't somehow started yet and I'm tuning in to wait for it. In the first season, there was the mystery of the powers and all the characters learning about their own powers, some liking it, most hating them and wishing they could be normal. There was the mystery of the company and the kidnappings etc. And there was Sylar and the bomb and everyone uniting to stop both.
2nd season, it's not clear to me yet what the mystery is, besides the boogeyman can do some cool mind tricks and someone seems to be bumping off the original 10 in that photo. I think pretty soon they better start showing some new developments. It's 5 episodes and Peter is still in Ireland.
Everyone's bashing this episode -- why? Now, for me the season opener was like, anti-climactic after waiting soooooooooooooooooo long for it, but it really picked up after that. Granted, this epi wasn't bang bang boom, but every episode can't be!! Last week's had me hopping up and down on the couch; I get the feeling next week's will too. I LOVE the preview of Sylar telling Alejandro he's gonna kill him and take his power . . . . Does this mean he intends to keep Maya around to eliminate any competition he doesn't want to "harvest"? Perhaps Alejandro will be able to succeed where our established Heroes have failed . . . .
What if the person who attacked Ms Petrelli was Parkman's dad? We saw her alone but what if she was in a "nightmare"?
that would make sense.
that might also give an indication as to what ms petrellis power is... i mean, somehow in that building all the lights went off when she was being attacked. if she was in a nightmare from mr parkman senior, then something SHE did knocked out the power as a reflex action.
