Hiro and Ando look through the comic that they brought back, but there are no words in the voice bubbles. They don't know what to do other than follow the drawings. "Don't worry New York----We will save you!!"
Petrelli home
Nathan's wife and kids return. He lies and tells them that nothing has happened since they left. Claire and Angela prepare to leave for Paris. Peter asks Claire to stay. He tells her that he explodes--she says "like Ted Sprague?", Peter asks who is Ted?
St Louis
HRG, Ted & Matt- Ted thaws out a car as they prepare to continue their mission to NYC. Matt is not allowed to call his wife. The tracking device is calle "the Walker System"
Isaac's loft
Sylar is painting Ted and deciding to take his power. He calls Mohinder because he is afraid of killing innocent people...like his mother. He has killed others because they did not deserve their powers, but he really does not want to kill half of NYC. Mohinder dials 911. Sylar says it was a mistake to call and hangs up.

the Sander's home
Niki tells DL that Linderman has taken Micah. He tells her that she failed at her job and he leaves to reclaim Micah. Niki and Jessica debate about whether to help DL or not. They resolve that Linderman will kill DL without their help.
Candace has Micah in a hotel room. He is playing a basketball video game. He tells her that he wants to go home and that he does not like Linderman. As Niki, Candace tells him that they owe Linderman and Micah must do as he is told.
Kirby Plaza, NYC
Thompson meets Mohinder. he asks if Mohinder will work for him. Mohinder says you will work for me because I know how to find special people. Thompson agrees. They go inside and Thompson tells Mohinder about Molly Walker. She can't use her power right now due to a virus. The virus is rare, Shanti (Mohinder's sister) had it and died. Papa Suresh found a cure a few months too late for Shanti. Thompson says Molly is the only one who can stop Sylar.
Isaac's loft
Sylar calls his mom, he wants to come home and see her, he is on his way. He decides to shave first. Hiro and Ando enter and find Isaac dead. They hear Sylar cleaning himself up and hide behind a painting. Sylar can hear their heartbeats after his attention is caught by Ando's "Gulp". Sylar approaches the painting and says, "I can hear you".
COMMERCIAL
Isaac's loft
Sylar TKs the painting away, but Hiro and Ando are not there. Hiro has teleported them away and they decide to tail Sylar from a distance.
Corinthian Hotel
Niki & DL phase into Linderman's art restoration room. They discover that Linderman has been following them their whole lives. They are just one big experiment to Linderman. They see his appointment book and believe he is in NYC---so they leave for New York.
Mohinder is drawing Molly Walker's blood. She confides that her power is that she can find people just by thinking about them, but she can't get her power to work right now. Mohinder tells her that she is special...she can find the bogeyman...the bogeyman likes to hide.
Petrelli home
Claire tells Nathan and Peter that Ted Sprague blew up her home in Odessa, maybe he is the bomb and not Peter. Claire discovers that Nathan can fly..."Cool" she says. Nathan says that he will make some calls..."Mr Linderman...we have a problem..."
Mrs Gray's apartment
Sylar says "Hi Mom!", and she thanks God for her son's safe return.

Sylar gives his mom a snow globe as she collects them. Her clock is broken. It is a beautiful timepiece, it just needs some attention. She is proud of Sylar for travelling around the world. She knew he was special. Sylar says he may stop travelling. She suggests that he could be an investment banker. He says he has a job---watchmaker. She says that watch repair is a hobby. He asks if it is OK to be a normal watchmaker. She answers " Why would you want to do that when you could do anything---you could be President if you wanted to..."
Petrelli Campaign HQ
Claire spots Thompson talking to Nathan. She tells Peter that HRG used to work for Thompson. Claire decides to leave, but Peter presses onward. Thompson admits he is aware of Ted Sprague and has things under control. Nathan is hesitant about going forward with the plan to destroy half of NYC.
Micah apologizes to Niki/Candace for talking back to her earlier. Candace goes to take a shower, and Micah manipulates the electronic lock on the hotel door and escapes. he darts into another room, but it is still the same room he just left. He repeats this escapade to find Candace drying her hair. Candace reveals her power to Micah and tells him that he needs to behave.
Mrs Gray's apartment
Sylar asks "What if I have to hurt other people to be special?" She says he would not hurt anyone. He tells her that he is special and he uses the sink sprayer to turn the apartment into a giant snow globe. He then begins to TK his mom's snow globes around. One of them strikes his mother. Hiro & Ando have watched the entire scene from the window.
COMMERCIAL
Mohinder looks through a microscope and is depressed by what he sees. Molly says that she knows he cannot help her. He says that he knows that there is an anti-body that will help and he promises that he will find it. Molly gives him a hand drawn Gold Star and tells him that it will protect him from the bogeyman.
Mrs Gray's apartment
Mrs Gray hides, crying in her bedroom. Sylar pleads with her from the other side of the door. Ando suggestd that Hiro attack now while Sylar is distracted. Mrs Gray starts to leave and tells Sylar that he is "damned" --where is my Gabriel??? She grabs a pair od long sharp scissors and begins to attack Sylar. He holds her off, they struggle, the scissors pierce Mrs Gray's chest. Sylar is shocked. Hiro enters and freezes time. He draws his sword and is about to attack Sylar. Time unfreezes---Sylar grabs Hiro's sword, calls him a coward, and freezes the sword with his power. Ando breaks in, Hiro grabs Ando and teleports away. Mrs Gray falls to the ground dead.
COMMERCIAL
Mohinder has found a cure for Molly in himself--his own blood carries the anti-body. He gives Molly a transfusion of his blood.
Hiro and Ando are outside. Hiro states that he failed and then he and Ando see that his katana is broken.
Petrelli home
Peter gives a gun to Claire. She is to shoot him if he starts to lose control or begins to explode. He explains that he is certain of what happens because he can draw the future. He has drawn Ted at Kirby Plaza. They head off for Kirby Plaza
Petrelli Campaign HQ
Angela visits Nathan about his "cold feet" regarding the explosion that kills half of NYC. She admits that she has been in cahoots with Linderman. Nathan says he can't accept killing NYC. She tells him he needs to have faith. People will thank him for his strength, conviction and faith. She calls it being "presidential". She asks "Can you be the one we need?"
Mrs Gray's Apartment
Sylar is painting the floor with his mother's blood. He has painted the explosion. He says to himself, "I can be President."
Kirby Plaza
Peter and Claire wait at Kirby Plaza. Claire says that being non-normal caused her to hurt everyone until she met Peter. He says the same for her. HRG, Ted and Matt approach. HRG and Claire hug. Peter's hands begin to glow as he absorbs Ted's power. He calls out "Claire!!"
Seven Minutes to Midnight
In Madras, India after scattering his father's ashes, Mohinder has an unusual dream in which his mother and father discuss his father's plan to move to New York City to pursue his research. Chandra thinks he should stay in India for Mohinder's sake, but his wife persuades him to go, telling him Mohinder will never take "her" place in his eyes.
When Mohinder confronts his mother about the dream, she admits the conversation did take place. He presses her about what she meant about him not taking "her" place in his father's eyes, and she admits that she was referring to Mohinder's older sister, Shanti, who died when she was five years old and Mohinder was two.
His mother tells him that they concealed his sister from him because his father loved her so much, claiming she was "special", that they were afraid Mohinder would compare himself unfavorably to her.
In Ep. 21, they say that Shanti died a few months before Mohinder was born!
^I think that was moreso Hiro losing his grip, dealing with the harsh issue of morality at hand - No one can break the hold, as seen with Peter. Just because he could move around didn't mean that he could cancel out Hiro's ability. Virginia (aka Mama Gray) falls as soon as Sylar moves. Hiro wussed out... Poor Hiro

Acid burn, i think i subscribe to hiro losing his concentration due to the morality of it all also. No matter how much you rationalize it, taking a life is so unfathomable to me.
This episode was kind of weak imo...but of course, after last week's Five Years episode, well, that's a hard one to top. Here's some stuff that caught my attention.
Why did Sylar go to his mom's house? I know he wants to get out of NYC cause he doesn't want to blow it up and all, but why mom's house? And why was his mom so weird? What happened to Sylar's dad? There was clearly animosity between Mom and Dad.
So Molly is a tracker... still doesn't explain how she's the only one who can stop Sylar. What is the significance of the star picture she gave Mohinder to protect him from the "boogey man"? I did like Mohinder getting some balls and trying to get Thompson to think he's joining up with him, lol Mo...
Nathan and Thompson are all buddy-buddy now too, so why was HRG+Haitian trying to catch him in one of those earlier episodes? Maybe they didn't know he was in a position to be president since Issac didn't paint it yet?
I agree that time was unfrozen for Sylar by Hiro on account of his morals. However, I think it was an unconscious choice to do so. Why? Similar to when he kissed Charlie (he knew she was going to die and that his time there was well spent but no longer needed) he closed his eyes when he raised the sword. This tells me that his mind/subconscious controls his power on a level unknown to him as of yet. When he raised the sword, he didn't really want to take Sylar's life, and so his subconscious ended the time-stop, as it was no longer necessary.
Peter is not a very good half-brother to put Claire in that situation, now, is he?
First, Peter is her uncle. Second, I believe somewhere in the last episode Future Hiro said how his time-stopping powers didn't work when Sylar was around, which was why he had trouble killing him when he needed to. Somehow Sylar has the ability to not be effected by it. I don't believe it's a mortality issue. the mother would have been equally effected by this and not frozen. A lapse in his power wouldn't just happen to Sylar.

She wasn't effected by the "lapse" in his power as some of you say Sylar was. Which is what I was referring to. His mom falls after Hiro and Ando teleport out, not depleted and thereby no longer making his power effective in that room.
