Putting Adam in a coffin isn't really that cruel when you think about it. Adam would "die" from lack of oxygen, and basically just be in a state of hibernation until he gets air. This is pretty much the best way to keep him alive but dead, and allows the writers to bring him back when necessary. What I am dreading, though, is the scene that might be written by a noob writer in a year when Adam is yelling from the coffin when he is released. I hope that those kind of plot holes will stop happening after the strike. I love the show as long as those aren't obvious to me, because the holes screw up the believability big-time, even more than simple not-very-good writing.
Mm, yes, I agree. It's actually quite rare to see a programme that's set RIGHT NOW, as a pose to last year or something, and if it's unbelievable that totally destroys it. It might as well be set in the future, or the past, when we don't have eprfectly accurate knowledge of everything that happens, but if it's set now we'll know if soemthing's wrong and it will destroy the magic of the show completely. I may not have put that very well, I'm just typing my train of thought, but I think it's understandable.
I think HRG shot Nathan. Think about it...The Company knows Nathan is going to run his mouth, and doesn't want him to. HRG would probably be forced to prove his loyalty to the Company. Shooting Nathan was probably his first new assignment. This puts Noah back into the potential "villian" catagory just in time for the next volume titled "Villians" Notice that it is plural, VILLIANS. Sylar won't be the only bad guy.
Villains hmmmm..........
Wasn't there a rock monster Uluru or something - who was in one of Issac's painting. Does anyone think he wud be in chapter 3???
I hope they call off the strike soon!!! Or Im gonna miss a lot of good shows and will have to stick to watchin reruns!!!
Good point. Another thing that bothered me about the vault was: Why didn't Peter just walk through the vault door? Maybe there's an obvious reason why that I'm not thinking of. All in all, though, I loved the episode and seeing him rip the vault door open was cool.
The one reason I can think of is that he did it because it was Adam's suggestion. If they just walked it into the vault, there would be no way that Adam could release it in an air tight vault. And any attempt would be quickly halted by Peter. Adam needed Peter to tear the vault open for that reason. Doesn't make Peter look all too bright, but that's a condition his character has been slowly evolving from from day one.

Yeah, thats a good point. Peter would have wanted to destroy the virus as soon as one of them picked it up. Adam probably realized that and convinced Peter to just rip the door open. Good point!!
I for one am glad to see nicki go, I lost interest in her after she stopped digging up dead bodies in the desert and decided to cry and plead and be pathetic in every single scene after that. The concept of her character being schizo is great, but somehow when I see her onscreen I just want to change the channel. So I hope she stays dead, especially since there is really no explaination for her survival. Nathan's death should be reversed through transfusion though because he was starting to go down a very interesting path once he decided to make a stand and finally own his ability; he is a strong character and the relatinship with peter is important.
I don't think that Noah could have shot him since he is Clare's biological father and probably wouldnt be able to live with himself if he added that onto everything else he put his family through.
Season 3 needs to focus on answering the questions about the old generation of heroes (WTF are mama petrelli and Papa Hiro's powers!?) and just really flesh out all of the diverse abilities available now. It was great to see them expand on the powers during this season.

I'd love to see a flashback scene with the Haitain's powerblock getting his father killed, and possible Angela Petrelli saving him somehow (is that how it happened in the novels?) Doom and Bliss daddy action.
And I'm really hanging for Papa Petrelli to make an appearance out of faking his death.
I also sort of miss Peter's early character when he was just trying to find some importance in his life. The giant leap is still the most powerful moment in the show - crazy!
Why does everyone want people to rise back again from the dead. This is already a pathetic scenario where no one dies!!! And to have them arising again is just SAD. All Said and done being the sucker for heroes I still cant wait to watch the new Chapter "VILLAINS". Atleast I hope they have Sylar running mayhem and havoc like before. Go Sylar go - KIL KILL KILL. Yeah I know Im a Sad excuse for Humanity - But i love it when Sylar Kills!!!
I kinda agree with the feeling of everyone cant always be brought back from the dead, but isnt that what heroes and especially super heroes are all about? They beat unsurrmountable odds again and again, they make us feel like there is hope, If this show was all based on reality and true laws of life and death, true laws of physics, then we would never have the Flying Man, or the Time Traveler, or The Head Cutting Brain Eater Power Absorber Guy.............
i'm not really for raise from dead i dont beleive niki ever died to begin with. nathan though if htrey bring him back will probly be a raise from dead.
I'm not really into the whole bring back to life thing either but I do agree with Etticat in the fact that you can't base anything off reality or the laws of physics.
I wouldn't want Niki back, not because I don't like the character, but because she's been blown up into a million tiny pieces so it wouldn't be possible, and also because I agree with the whole 'too many people rising from the dead' thing. However, I feel sorry for Micah, and wouldn't want him to be an orphan, so I'd actually be really sad if Niki did die.
