I just finished uploading it to my laptop and I replayed the scene frame by frame... Nathan is definitely bleeding just before he falls to the ground. The shots hit him dead center in the chest. One looks like it is very close to his heart - both could have pierced his lungs. It looks BAD... I think, 'tragically', the ONLY way they could save him is with some Heroes magic...
[quote=I wouldnt mind it, only isnt that what Marty told the Doc in the letter!?[/quote]
LOL. Its funny you said that JP. As soon as I submitted that comment I realized I straight stole that from Back to the Future. But who cares.......it wouldn't be the first time one writer "borrowed" from another.

Well, that blows my Back to the Future theory up too. Oh well...........you tired NICHOLETTE
did anyone notice the cards in the vault?
it reminded me of Gambit.
It don't get much betta than this!
I thought of the same thing! Im sure it was prob their way of paying Homage to Gambit or maybe even Marvel. Either way, i wonder why they were there and whose they are.
Was it the Famous "Dead Man's Hand" from the old west? Who was that jesse James that got shot holding the Aces and Eights? I will have to go back and see what the actual hand of cards was............It would kinda be neat ot have a figure from actual history be refered to as having a power.
about the Back to the Future thing, here's how it goes:
Peter is very sad about his brother's death. He tries to make himself a sandwich, but accidentally stabs himself with a fork and instantly regenerates. He wishes that Nathan had some blood like his own running through his veins. He eventually decides to watch TV to get his mind off it. He sees the last part of Back to the Future, and says,"Wow, that time traveling stuff is intense, too bad that it doesn't happen in real life."Hiro teleports in front of him and smacks him in the face. Hiro says,"Petah, you muzt be ze dumbest perzon on earth! Go save your brother, you lozer!" Peter responds,"Why should I trust you? You killed my best buddy Adam!" Hiro then smacks him several more times and saves Nathan himself. THE END.
If the writers (or whoever is filling in right now) really want us to care, they should make Peter seem like his IQ is higher than 30, especially with all of his mentally based powers like mind control/telepathy, flawless memory, mechanical intuition and such. I really like Peter's character, they just need to stop conveying him as stupid. Darn it! I still care! The finale was actually pretty good, better than the rest of the season and considering the writer's strike.
Now my main question here for the end of the season is "So what?"
Basically, we watched an entire season just to see one decent episode that reminded us all of season 1, and is setting the stage for season 3. Did they really have to drag it all out like this? I mean, if you're going to waste my time, at least let me enjoy it!
I'd have to say that this season seriously didn't live up to the expectations we had for the series like we'd hoped. My hope now is that they get back on track, and keep the intensity and emotion going like they had in the finale, and build on it for season 3!
Oh, and I love the idea behind season 3 as well! After all, we've got too many heroes, and not enough villans. Everyone with an ability seems to be willing to be a 'good guy', and nobody seems to be self-absorbed, or wanting to further their own goals and agendas in life. We need a couple more Sylar-like characters in this Heroes universe!
Anyway, Nathan being shot doesn't put him down yet. After all, HRG was more fatally shot than Nathan was, and he's still alive and kicking, so there's not any real need to dismiss Nathan just yet. In fact, if I were the company, I'd be seeing about getting Nathan's corpse, just to make sure that I had an ace in the hole against Peter and his actions!
So, all in all, the season was a bit disappointing, but my hope is that it's just a hiccup that can be remedied as soon as the new season gets here!
