C'mon people, ease up a little! Squeaker.....I think I agree with you! I dont think that it was the best episode of this season, but I definately dont think it was the worst! I think that this was actually pretty good, considering that the writers have had to cram the rest of the season into just a few episodes!
Claire-Yeah she makes some mistakes, and she's a little too trusting at times, but how old is her charachter? 15-16 MAX!? Also she just lost her father, of course she's going to be upset. I thought it was AWESOME when she punched the window, and threatened to go to the media! I dont think the company would be so quick to kill her if she went public. Also, I think the whole comment about getting the Haitian to erase her memories of her father, so it wouldnt hurt so bad, just proves to us her age/mentality! We all lose loved ones at some point, so she's just having a hard time dealing! I am SO glad she didnt actually go through with that plan!
Mohinder-His "Power" is the special antibodies in his blood, right? It's not technically a power, but that is it. Shanti had the same thing in her blood, but with a different strand, which made it into a disease? Is that correct? And when this disease is combined with Adams' blood, it makes the incureable strand. I do NOT think Mo is stupid at all! He is very confused, and he has a golden set of morals! He just wants to make the right choice. I like how it was said in another post today, "Mo has seen HRG kill a few different people, so he's not sure who to trust" also, Mo knows that HRG has some problems with Bob, and has a grudge against the company, so therefore this causes doubt in Mo's mind about who to side with!
Maya, Al, & Sylar-I havent cared much for this storyline, but I dont HATE it! I actually liked this last episode! It made me yell at the TV a lot, but that's part of what makes it good! However, it wasnt smart to choose a "STRANGEr" over your TWIN brother!? But, ya know love makes ya blind! The only thing I can say is, this must be Maya's 1st boyfriend. What would happen if Sylar actually falls in luv w/Maya? Would she change him, or would he change her?! LOL!
Nikki-I have always liked Nikki, I dont think it's boring, when a dying mother is telling her son how much she loves him, and "Blah-blah-blah"!! I cant wait to see her kick those dudes a**'s that took Monica! (boy are they in for a surprise)

Mohinder gets the call from Sylar, and turns around to save go rescue Molly from Sylar. In doing this, he totally forgets about taking the cure to Nikki. Or else Sylar "de-bos" Mohinder and takes the "cure" for himself (as we saw in the preview) Nikki gets the call from Micah, needing help to save Monica. This is where the plot comes in to play where Nikki dies in a fire, trying to save Monica. I'm thinking that during this fight between Nikki and the bad guys that took Monica, maybe this is how the virus spreads to the public?! As far as Claire,HRG, West, Elle, and Bob figure into it, I'm not so sure.....I'm thinking from all of the spoilers and such, that during this fight between Mo and Sylar...Elle, Claire, Bob etc, all get involved and this is where we get to see Elle kick Sylars ass! When Hiro freezes time to kill Adam, then Hiro and Peter fight for a few minutes, but I dont think that there is going to be a "Showdown" between the two of them. I think that after Hiro tells Peter a few things, he's going to finally see the truth about Adam! Then Peter will finally get to show Adam how to die! I know I left out a lot of things, but this is the 1st time I've made an attempt at a post like this! I know most of ya wont read all of this! So, if you've made it this far.....THANKS!!! also this episode raised another thing that has been bugging me.
was mohinder's father working for the company or at least had a decent amount of knowledge about them? how did they obtain the virus to experiment with? and wasn't he killed by the company?Time wise it makes sense, because mohinder is probably about 30 years old or so. i think it makes the most sense that chandra was working for the company because of his daughter, he wanted to find a cure. after experimenting, they gave him to ability to put the anitbodies in mohinder, possibly as a safety in case the virus got out of control. the company killed him because he wrote the book and was about to public.
the only thing that would disprove this is the fact that he saw sylar as "patient zero"
which indicates that he had no prior knowledge before him. or perhaps sylar was meant to be a test subject for mohinder's antibodies...
i also want to know what the hell shanti's powers were and why doesn't mohinder have any(possibly because of the antibodies in his system killed his abilities?)
The company didnt kill Chandra Suresh......Sylar did, in a Taxi cab that Dr.Suresh was driving in NYC. Sylar basically was pissed because the Dr. didnt see Sylar as having an ability, he called Sylar (Gabriel) as the murderer he was, and it made Sylar mad!
I made it through your post... Yatta! One comment: Niki won't have superstrength, when facing the thugs: Mohinder (carrying the cure with him) was on his way to the airport when Sylar called him. So the cure will never make it to New Orleans. Unfortunately, Monica will have to be saved another way.

that was actually depicted as dream sequence the way i saw it(heroeswiki confrims this as well) which raised the possibilty that it didn't happen that way. which would kinda make sense if charles devueax had the ability to project dreams into others...

Chandra, killed by Sylar, didn't work for the company. Had his memory wiped by the Haitain concerning the existence of Clare. Was in the U.S. less than 6 months before he was killed, so no chance of working for the company.
Peter' and Adam - well firstly, Peter's base instinct is to find the good in people. Second, he was chatting to a guy forming a bond for about 3 months. The same guy who helped him escape, who cured his brother, and helped him get his memory back. Thirdly, Peter only read Victoria Pratt's mind on a reflex, not a conscious effort. He "really wanted" that information so the power surfaced, It has no idea how to control his powers. Otherwise he's be back icking up Caitlin and all things would be good for him, HIs "only" mootivation now is destroy the virus to save the girl.
Hiro - is waltzing about with vengeance in his heart. He can't see his dad as evil, despite what he has seen or heard. Has a pretty strong history with Adam. So if some guy called Peter is standing with a guy he knows is his father's murderor, and he's worked himself up for a killing, I don't think he's gonna start having some conversation with Peter about what's been up lately. "Get out of my way, I"m gonna kill this dude"
For example, how the heck did Peter have that NOTICE OF EVAC. Umm he picked it up when he first entered the future with Katlin....then he got caught....stripped...washed....and re-clothed with a new white jersey. What, did the guard say..."oh yeah heres a copy of our evactuation notice for you to keep".
Then we see Peter back in the Montreal when he meets Adam...who then has Peter pull out the picture of Nathan to gain back his memories....
and when this EP10 starts with Peter (back in the same room in Montreal that he has been stuck in since he jumped).... he is holding the EVAC notice....what th..?

I figured that was a different ability altogether, maybe something he got from his mom? Or whoever. Interesting how the whole scene played out like a dream sequence... except that Peter was able to pull something real from out of it.
That, unfortunately, may have been a necessary bit of ad-lib plot exposition. It is possible that they orginally intended this deal to go on for another 10 or more episodes, with more time spent on figuring out when/where the virus breaks out. That little scene may have been a last-minute addition that was thrust into the story after the fact - i.e. they needed him to have the flyer, but he didn't have it when he left Caitlin behind - so they needed something to get it into his hands.
Or I could be wrong, who knows?

Ok, I'm trying to understand what you are saying in your post.....Are you saying that the Haitian wiped the memory of Chandra clearing his memory of CLaire? I dont remember that happening at all! Or were you saying that Haitian took the memory of Claire from Sylar, because I dont remember that happening at all either! I saw some previews of next weeks ep. and Sylar was talking to Mohinder about Claire, so he still has memories of her also! However! I DO agree with you about Chandra NOT working for the company! I believe that he was a very good man, and his life work was to find a cure for the Shanti virus and to locate the "Specials" in the world! So I honestly dont believe that he was involved with the company! I think he had more common sense than Mohinder, when it came to things like that! LOL!
I also am agreeing with the fact that Peter trust Adam because they did spend some time together, in "Lock-up" nonetheless! So, that did make them kinda tight! But Peter remembers Hiro, so I just dont understand why he's not trusting Hiro more than Adam? I think that once Hiro and Peter calm down and Hiro explains what has happened, maybe Peter will change his mind! Plus this conversation will happen while time is frozen, so they wont have Adam trying to but in and change Peters mind! So, once he has time to explain all of this to Peter, maybe he will have some memory flash-backs and snap out of it! So, I hope for Hiro's sake that he wont try to "F" with Peter! We all know that Peter will whoop on Hiro, NO PROBLEM!

Chandra first contacted HRG about Claire. HRG went to see him. After that conversation he asked the Haitain (or Eden) I can't remember which to remove all evidence of Claire from his list. And you can presume he got a memory wipe about it too.

I'm really bad with names, but the woman geneticist that we saw in this last episode is the one who 'harvested' the virus from Shanti.
Bob was the one who told Mohinder about her and what she found. She's the one who then experimented with the virus, and came up with the mutated strain that could kill everyone. (138 I believe.)
She's been working for and with the company since it was founded, as she was one of the original 12 founders.
Now that she's dead, Adam knows where the virulent strain is, and he and Peter have gone looking for it in Odessa. This is where we left off with Hiro facing down Peter and Adam being none the wiser.
i don't think the haitain erased sylar's mind of any knowledge of clarie.... wasn't sylar main goal in season one was to aquire her power? the whole "save the cheerleader, save the world" thing...
Actually, HRG sent Eden to watch over Chandra back in the episode "Six Months Ago". She was supposed to check in on him, and see what he knew.
Then, to protect Claire, HRG sent The Haitian to wipe all memory of Claire from Chandra's mind, and remove the evidence from his studies, so that he couldn't follow up on her.
After that, Sylar comes into the picture, and Chandra becomes taken with Gabriel Gray. This ends with Chandra's death.
So Sylar's memory didn't get erased then. I don't recall if HRG had The Haitian wipe Sylar's memory after He and Eden captured Sylar outside of Odessa H.S. It does stand to reason that if Sylar were there hunting for Claire, you'd think that HRG would've had The Haitian remove that memory from Sylar's brain as well..

ok.... so does that mean that the company already knew of shanti's existence? and if so did chandra know about the company?how did the virus get from point A(shanti) to point B(the company) when shanti died did someone from the company come up and was like "um could we borrow your daughter for a minute so we can extract some blood from her and frak around with it?" i highly doubt it.
hopefully this will be touched on fully at some point during the series...
