I agree with the previous 2 posters! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

i also wish that they would at least touch on how these people get around. like how did peter and adam get from montreal to maine to texas in what seems like less than a day? i would assume that they flew but they had a car. also how did they manage to find victoria so quickly, wasn;t she supposed to be in hiding? unless peter used molly's power (which they didn't say) i just don't see how they were able to find her so quickly.

also, Matt lived in New York and was going to go see victoria, isn't that like a 8-12 hour drive or less. but somehow in one episode he going to discover victoria figure everything out AND go to texas even though he couldn't make before peter and adam did event though he was closer?

also this episode raised another thing that has been bugging me.

was mohinder's father working for the company or at least had a decent amount of knowledge about them? how did they obtain the virus to experiment with? and wasn't he killed by the company?Time wise it makes sense, because mohinder is probably about 30 years old or so. i think it makes the most sense that chandra was working for the company because of his daughter, he wanted to find a cure. after experimenting, they gave him to ability to put the anitbodies in mohinder, possibly as a safety in case the virus got out of control. the company killed him because he wrote the book and was about to public.

the only thing that would disprove this is the fact that he saw sylar as "patient zero"
which indicates that he had no prior knowledge before him. or perhaps sylar was meant to be a test subject for mohinder's antibodies...

i also want to know what the hell shanti's powers were and why doesn't mohinder have any(possibly because of the antibodies in his system killed his abilities?)

The few flaws don't bother me at all. Maybe I don't demand so much from light entertainment ^.~ I'm enjoying the pace of the last few episodes. Considering the time they have left, the writers picked the show up as well as could be managed.

Claire; She seems exactly the same character as she always was, thus I like her just the same as I always did. If you want her to stop crying, ask the writers to stop tormenting her Wink

I think she's handling things reasonably well.

Mo; He's done nothing wrong and everything right. So far, the company (well, Bob) has conceded to all of his morally-white demands (don't take Monica's power, don't kill HRG, do things my way, etc). Whether or not they are ultimately good or bad, he's done the most good where he is. Look - he just created a cure, with Claire's blood and Company facilities. He wouldn't have achieved that by going Rambo with HRG. Good boy, Mohinder.

Peter; Okay, he's being a bit narrow sighted. But he could still have noticed that Adam is 'bad'. It wouldn't change anything. Peter isn't just 'following Adam'; he is on his own mission to stop the future he saw. Peter learned about the virus from Adam. He also learned from Adam who/where the biologist was. And once he got the word 'Texas' from her, it was Adam who knew exactly where in Texas the facility was. Adam is incredibly useful! Of course Peter is going to protect him from Hiro. He'll work with Adam for as long as their goals are the same. If Adam turns ugly, Peter can always kick his ass Cool

Maja/Alej/Sylar; I actually liked how this went down. Sure, Alej was a nice guy and Sylar is an a$$hole, but a$$holes make great TV so hurray for one more corpse on my screen! It's a good plotline, and can lead to wonderful places(!) - but indeed it should have been covered a lot quicker. It should have been; BAM! Dead wedding... ZOOM! On the run... *GASP*! Enter Sylar... *TICK-TOCK*! Manipulation... URK! Byebye brother... WHOOSH! Welcome to NY! It would have worked across 3 episodes, spread far apart to suggest time for S&M to bond.

You know it's a bad episode when you can't decide which character is the dumbest. Everyone is just so stupid, stupid, stupid on this show?

Honestly, Peter. You can read Pratt's mind but not Monroe's? You're either the stupidest person in the Heroes universe or this series is suffering from another plot hole.

Maya: how stupid can you be? Yeah, when Sylar grabbed your arm and gnashed his teeth at you, you were supposed to run, not get all tickled down below. Now your brother is dead because he's quantifiably less of a complete moron than you. Way to trust a creepy, psycho-killer over your brother who forgave you and tried to help you after you killed his fiance and all his friends. Also, is it customary to walk into a someone's house and dismiss his or her babysitter in Mexico? No? Then why do you think it's cute when Sylar does it? (sidenote: Molly doesn't wake up when this happens? The babysitter just leaves?)

Mohinder: You, my friend, have come the longest way from sharpest and most careful character on the show to world's biggest buffoon. How can anyone say he's done the right thing? Bob doesn't give him what he wants at all. He just baits and switches while Mohinder eats it up like poison cheese in a mouse trap. What happened to his character?

Claire is also stupid for trusting Bob (as is Niki), but quantifiably less so than these others. How long does it take to forget your own blood can heal someone? If I were Claire, I would have been trying to bleed all over daddy's corpse before West flew me away.

Gag me. The key parts of the plot are all turning on how stupid one character or another happens to be at the moment.

Gee, Peter, maybe Hiro AND Bob AND Victoria all telling you the same thing independent of one another might BE A SIGN not to trust a dude you've known for TWO WEEKS! Or at least a sign to read his mind? Are you honestly gonna fight Hiro? Adam killed his gorram father and you think that's OK?

I'm quite surprised you bounced back on this one Hercules, because all the pressure that was built up in the previous episode seemed to make a farting noise as it came leaking out of the balloon in this one.

My friend, who got me into Heroes, literally turned to me and said, "I think this is the one where Heroes jumped the shark."

This episode was riddled with all the problems everyone has been pointing out. Slow paced, rehashed (though a bit less so this particular episode), questionably continuous (Victoria leaves the company, and then poses for a photo years later?), and poorly executed (the plot works because everyone is an idiot). I hate, hate, hate to say it, but it was truly awful television (especially in the context of the series at large).

Well, I don't know if I bounced all the way back, as you would say.

I did like this episode a bit more than you. Here's why:

I agree, the show is not what it used to be. BUT some of the stories are starting to pay off because of the character development. Secondly, I am willing to keep an honest and open mind. However, like everyone said, I am not sure, if that;s enough for the show, and if it might not be too late for its long term survival.

This last EP was ugly (In some points)...but I do want to at least thank TIM KRING for not leaving us "hangin".

I mean if he truely stuck to his concept for Season 2, and if the writers constructed a "Flawless" storyline....
then we would all be left hanging on EP11...probably in the dead middle of some fatastic battle.

Yes, the writers are tossing things into the show just to close out this season, but they really are making it worse than better.

For example, how the heck did Peter have that NOTICE OF EVAC. Umm he picked it up when he first entered the future with Katlin....then he got caught....stripped...washed....and re-clothed with a new white jersey. What, did the guard say..."oh yeah heres a copy of our evactuation notice for you to keep".

Then we see Peter back in the Montreal when he meets Adam...who then has Peter pull out the picture of Nathan to gain back his memories....

and when this EP10 starts with Peter (back in the same room in Montreal that he has been stuck in since he jumped).... he is holding the EVAC notice....what th..?

By the way...couldnt he have just asked his mom (in the future) when does this start, by who, and where. I mean Angela was telling him HE NEEDED to stop this. She (being a lone survivor...and on Homeland Sec speed call list) should have been able to really fill him in...or at least share her thoughts on what happened when they were mind sharing.

-Future Hiro took the iniative to come back to this present in S1....and future hiro explained it to ANDO when they got seperated in S1.

I love nit-picking, especially when a show is starting to head to oblivion.

There is still a lot there -- I hope it's enough for the show to survive and come back refreshed.

To me, this is just a bit too anti-climactic for being the next to the last episode of the season.

Last season, we were totally on the edge of our seats wondering what was going to be happening next.

This season? Not so much.

I'd have to say that this episode was better than a few that have come and gone this time around, but it still left some serious things to be desired.

Peter's not acting like he used to.

He used to try to see everyone's point of view. But now? He just seems brainwashed.

Is this because of the Haitian's mindwiping effect on him, or does he really not remember how much of a loving sap he really was back in Season 1?

Mohinder has gotten a lot more gray in his actions, even if his goals are still morally white. Being willing to shoot someone and then bring them back to help you further your own goals is just TWISTED! I don't even think HRG would have gone that far, and he's basically sold his soul for some of the actions that he's taken. We've got quite the company prodigy growing right before our eyes here.

The Bob and Elle relationship looks strained. I don't think Bob feels one bit of remorse over the things that happened to Elle, and I don't think he even really cares about her well-being, as long as she is a good producer for the company, then she's an asset he's willing to use. If her usefulness runs out, I think she'll be discarded like yesterday's trash.

Anyway, there's just too much story and not enough time to tie up the good plots. And the poor plots are getting dragged out over extra episodes, and giving me heartburn. I'd have to say that they need to prioritize the stories better, and give the airtime where it's needed.

Can't wait for the showdown! My bet's on Peter winning, but Hiro's going to have Peter switching sides at the end, and stopping Adam. However, Adam's going to keep on, and Peter and Hiro now have a new nemesis to thwart!

If Bob didn't care about his daughter, he wouldn't have traded her back for Clair. I'm pretty sure Clair is far more useful to him as well.

Although, I will agree that he has always treated her like a test subject.

I'm with you Jorm: Hiro will make Peter see reason (hopefully, lol) and they will have to put le smack down on Adam. However, from the preview, i hope this doesn't come too late . . . Adam's courting of Peter is both completely brilliant, and completely insane. Brilliant because he (currently) has all that power working for him, insane because if/when Hiro makes Peter see the light, he's totally screwed. The vision I get of Peter vs. Adam is similiar to the Kids in the Hall sketch-- Peter breaks out some TK, and busts out a little "I'm Crushing Your Head" action on Adam.

I think Anti-Climatic is the best description for this episode I've heard. I was expecting more for it to be one of the final episodes of the volume.
