What is of bigger concern is the fact that NBC is going to be in a lot of trouble, because of the writer's strike and because they don't have any new content (any new shows OR new TV episodes) to put on the screen after the first of the year. Read about it here:

Great articles, thanks for sharing them Herc. After reading those articles, more than ever I'll be a loyal fan.

Kring's public apology goes a long way to making me want him to do well next season. He acknowledged the exact faults posters brought up in this forum. Cool.

His comment about the way new characters were introduced, without any attachment to the old characters (with the exception of Elle) was brilliant.

I would have been more accepting of Adam as an evil dude if we were shown reasons for his evil-ness. More harm should have come to people because of him, meaning to say, not just not his "intention" of releasing the virus, but also actual things he'd done. Killing Kaito didn't seem that evil to me, since he'd been locked up for how long? We should have seen Adam do more bad things. We get Sylar's badness because we saw his mom not accept him unless he was "special", she was nuts. And they established him as a serial killer.

I would have accepted Maya if she wasn't so naive and if the writing showed a natural development of her relationship with Sylar and perhaps write Alejandro in a more negative light, so it would be believable that she wanted to send him home. Actually, the real romance that could have flown this season (if you'll pardon the pun), was between Maya and Sylar (the ultimate opposites; innocence and sophisticated evil). We do know how our Sylar hungers for the power. tee hee

The whole Micah/Monica thing bored me to tears and like Kring said, characters unrelated to the main story simply need to be cut. If it doesn't move the story forward, lose it, as they say in the writer's world.

But I really give Kring credit for his acknowledgement of the errors and his willingness to improve the next season. That takes kahonies and I respect him for that. I wish I could help him write.

I didn't read the article, but I think it's cool that Tim Kring realizes the show has declined and wants to get it back on track! I can't wait for new episodes! I think it will much better going forward!

Thanks for the links, Herc! Kring is awesome because he listens to the audience. I'm sure he'll get it right. I'll be here next volume. V2 was ofcourse a total mess, and not a touch on V1. But hell, I still liked it - but then I'm easy to please Wink

I wish NBC some luck digging up content for the next few months.
