I thought it was funny how HRG mentions to Mohinder about Suresh quite possibly be a common name in india.. Like Smith or Anderson..
oKay smith I can see but Anderson being common? this just brings up a question about the Matrix to me and either in sci-fi or genetics but its mentioned which i think is pretty funny.
Agent Smith
Thomas Anderson AKA neo |

| I remember that. Smith and Anderson are common names, yes, but to use them together like that has got to be an intentional Matrix reference. |

Haha I was just rewatching "Genesis" and noticed that. I was going to post about it but decided it best to look and see if there was an old thread first. So, sorry to bump such an old thread, but I found that entirely too cool |

| In the UK at least, Anderson is (as far as I remember) the most common surname. Smith was actually somewhere around fifth. My knowledge on this is a little dated. |

| smith is definately a number one surname in many countries and anderson is just around the top ten in usa and very high in scotland ,norway and sweden so who knows?but i like to think that with a show like this there is an eye for putting double meaning into a lot of things , even the casting , i wonder if it was done with some feeling of giving a nod to some little seen screen gems. |

Hehe, so why aren't they making with the X-Men references then.
Oops, did I say the unmentionable truth then? Let's pretend I didn't...

They did. Hiro mentioned Kitty Pryde at one point earlier in the season. |

| I remember reading or watching...it might have been in the cast commentary on one of the episodes...that Jack Coleman (Mr. Bennet), said that line sort of impromptu..it wasn't written like that. But, he never watched the Matrix! It was coincidence...but oh what an intriguing one it was. |
