Wow,
that's great news.
July 21....
that means I will be buying less illegal fireworks this year
so I can afford to buy the new book
and I will need to start lifting weights now
so I can hold the book up while reading it this summer.
I am really looking forward to July 21. |

That's true--those books are heavy. I think she gets royaltys by the pound. |

If you can manage to carry book 5 you can manage to carry book 7.
Wow. The series I started reading almost 6 years ago is coming to it's final "chapter". |

Dude, something tells me this book is going to be horrible. I loved the first six, but there are too many loose ends to tie up in a 650-page-max book.
About the weight, J.K. Rowling has stated that no other books will exceed OOTP. |

784 pages to be exact. ^_^
I think it's just the right length. The reason Book 5 was so big was that she was answering so many questions from the first 4 books, but also setting the plot for the last half of the series. There was so much to introduce and so much to complete.
But, Book 7 will be mostly about finishing up the story...so 784 (the 2nd biggest of the series, edging out Goblet of Fire by 50 pages) pages of finishing up the series seems just about right to me!
*is listening to Order of the Phoenix on audiobook at the moment, actually >.>* |
