Bah - you beat me to it!
Just shows how much is going on behind the scenes. And how powerful wiping memories can be. |

| I liked the insight into S1 it gave us. Funny how Elle was going to fry Zach! LOL! |

| Very cool graphic novel, like how it pieces everything together. What I dont understand is how Claire does not recognise Elle from school when she sees her in the TV show. |

Call it a PLOT HOLE you can drive a Mack truck though -- this is the reason Star Trek used to make me mad. Now "Heroes" is heading in that direction. Argh!
Elle is not going to be there for "Homecoming".... She says it's a week away, and unless Claire manifests before then, her dad is recalling her. As we know, even though she manifested, it was at "Homecoming" and afterwards in "Company Man", so Elle could not have witnessed it.
The Haitian mindwiped both Elle and Zach.
But there is an inconcistency. There is an episode that shows Claire hiding the tape and her brother Lyle finding it. So, HRG did not get his hands on it until later. HRG getting his hands on the tape NOW makes no sense. Because (a) that would arouse the suspicions of his daughter and (b) be totally inconsistent.
I am just saying. |

Wait! I thought.
I went back and checked the graphic novel: we don't actually see HRG getting the tape, do we? He's just asking Zach about it. Who then has those particular memories erased. So, the only thing that the GN definitely tells us is that HRG knows of the existence of the tape.
Also, as to why Claire doesn't recognize Elle... what if the Haitian wiped those memories too? Heroes has LOTS of plot holes, but this might be one that they've been ambiguous enough to get away with... |
